Luxurious feel
Excellent location, so close to so many amenities and the train station. Rooms were clean, spacious, well stocked with supplies and felt luxurious. There was a good vibe in the lobby. The reception staff were wonderful. Big shout out to Geno at the front desk who was so welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Fantastic and ideal location
Ideal hotel, locality fantastic, especially if arriving by train. Room was clean and a good size. Staff on reception friendly. Very enjoyable stay in Newcastle 👍

All round wonderful
Currently having a great experience with the breakfast in bed room service at The County Hotel in Newcastle! The convenience and quality of in-room dining, rather that hauling my hung-over self to the dining room is much appreciated. Just ordered a full English breakfast with a side of pastries, pot of tea, fresh orange and toast, value for money! The staff are just lovely, and the rooms are large and comfortable.

Fantastic Value
Can't fault this hotel, fantastic value, beautifully decorated comfy bed, friendly staff. Excellent location right in city centre 5 min walk to Nx Newcastle gig, it was perfect. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was limited parking which was full, finding long stays alternative parking close by was difficult.

Helpful and convenient
I really enjoyed my stay at The County Hotel. The staff were really friendly. I have a disability, and the staff were really helpful on my adjustment. I loved the room - Comfortable and quiet. The location was excellent - Right in front of the train station. Overall, I can’t fault anything. I loved the hotel. I will be coming back. I only went to the Hudson Bar for dinner on one evening, but would love to try the breakfast the next time I’m there.

Great staff, well decorated
Great location for a city break - extremely convenient for the train station. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was well decorated and had the convenience of a mini bar and fridge. The hotel were putting up decorations for Christmas on the day I checked out and that really helped add a bit of sparkle to this beautiful old building. Staff were great. Will be back
