They made sure we were happy with everything and quickly sorted out any problems. The room was beautiful and a great size for both the meal and the evening reception and the dancefloor was a good size too. The provided a DJ who listened to what we wanted and provided us with everything we needed for the day. We were so happy with their service!The staff at the Clarion were amazing! Just for when we write our thank you card. On the whole, it was a brilliant day and the team did an amazing job. There were a couple of minor things that we notes from the day. Who conducts the ceremony
South Tyneside Council perform all civil ceremonies at Boldon Park Hotel
Can you book the registrar for us?
This must be booked with them direct, you can contact them by calling 0191 4246355
What do we do about ceremony music?
You need to provide three pieces of music for your ceremony on a USB.
Your choice includes a piece for walking down the aisle, during photographs and for leaving the room.
You can also provide background music whilst your guests are taking their seats.
What are the payment details?
£500 deposit required to secure your date.
50% of package due 6 months prior to your wedding date.
75% of package due 3 months prior to your wedding date.
Final balance due 28 days prior to wedding date.
Can we use confetti?
Your guests are welcome to use bio-degradable confetti within the outside areas of hotel.
where do we have photographs taken?
We have an outside backdrop of trees outside of the hotel and the pavilion in our courtyard.
Ask your wedding team to show you photographs of other couples using these areas.
How many guests are seated at each table?
We use 6ft round tables for afternoon weddings, these comfortably sit up to 10 guests, 12 maximum
How many guests are seated at the top table?
Your top table is created for you so you can have as little as 2 and as many as 14
Can we provide our own entertainment and additional decor items?
You are welcome to provide your own entertainment such as a live band, singers etc.
Public liability must be provided in advance of your special day. Items such as LED letters, photobooth etc. also require public liability insurance.
Do we need wedding insurance?
We recommend that you take out wedding insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances and for piece of mind.
