Our wedding at the George Washington was absolutely perfect, I could not fault the day at all, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond planning and perfecting our day, from start to finish the day was so smooth and the attention to detail was brilliant, thank you so much!

We were extremely fortunate to experience our wedding at the George Washington Hotel, the whole day was perfect from start to finish, the atmosphere and food were fantastic, and we couldn’t have been happier with the whole day, Eve and the team exceeded our expectations and made our special day so memorable. Thank you all for everything, we will never forget it.

The best day we could have wished for. Eve our wedding coordinator went above and beyond to make sure everything was ran smoothly. Anything we asked for was never a problem. There was no issues on the day. The management and staff were fantastic all the preparations and organisation come together just like we wished for! We would like to say how perfect everything went, from the meetings, the night before the wedding, the whole wedding day everything was flawless. We had such a relaxed and stress free experience and absolutely adored our day we couldn't of asked for more. The staff throughout were professional and helpful. Eve was amazing at organising the day and keeping us updated and Claire from we fancy the north and the magician Chris cross were perfect too. After looking at numerous different venues we decided to have our special day at The George Washington Hotel. Throughout the whole time from our very first visit to booking and meeting several times with our Wedding coordinator (Eve) we felt at ease and were very happy with everything. The day itself was extremely special and ran very smoothly thanks to the Manager/Master of ceremonies (James). Everything from guests arriving to the ceremony, the wedding breakfast, speeches and taking us to special places around the Golf course for photos was made possible by James and we were incredibly grateful that we felt at ease by this planning and delivery. The variety of drinks both Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic for our drinks reception was brilliant and went down really well with all our guests, The food for our wedding breakfast was amazing and delivered to an exceptional standard similarly the food for the buffet on the evening was well received by all our guests. Thank you to both yourself and James for making our day Special.

Highly recommend this hotel I stayed with my partner and our son and we absolutely loved our time here. We stayed in a privilege room and it was a fantastic room with loads of space and light. The whole hotel was absolutely spotless. Breakfast at The Orangery was lovely and my son absolutely loved the pancake machine. We also had dinner at the Carter & Fitch restaurant, where the food was amazing. We all enjoyed using the pool and spa facilities, which were spotless.

We stayed here this weekend as my mam was celebrating her 70th birthday in the Washington suite. And it was fantastic! The room was perfect, decorated to a lovely standard, staff incredible and the DJ and karaoke went down a storm. We also had a lovely sleep in a giant bed and an excellent breakfast. Really highly recommended, thank you to the staff for making the occasion one to remember.
