Holiday Inn Newcastle Jesmond

Everything on our wedding day was perfect, our privacy was respected and our space was private from other guests. All the staff worked so hard, were polite and the wedding breakfast meal was wonderful. Everything cooked to perfection, and served on time by friendly staff. In the evening we had a disco, everyone had a fantastic evening and the buffet we chose from the menu, once again was amazing , very tasty, cooked well and all our guests commented how lovely the meals were.

We had our wedding at holiday inn on 7th September 24 Our wedding coordinator Steph was amazing, as was Adam the food and beverage manager and Nicola My day was amazing, ran smoothly from start to finish, the whole day was timed to perfection, it was already a busy weekend at hotel with it being the GNR weekend but that didn't impact on my wedding If I was doing it all again I would use the holiday Inn I highly recommend going there for your wedding

Cant thank the staff at the Holiday Inn, Jesmond enough for making our day perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them and our party room looked amazing!

Stayed here for one night while attending a wedding, all staff on reception where fabulous and happy to do anything for you. Rooms where nice, pretty basic but clean and just what we need. Couple of bottles of water left in the mini fridge which was very welcoming, shower was one of the best showers I've had in a while! Had breakfast in the morning, was very taste with plenty choice. I'm gluten free and they staff got me some bread without a bother, all staff at breakfast were also very lovely!

Perfect stay as always we had evening meal which was nice we also paid for breakfast which was a lot of variety and we had a full English and the chef made me a poached egg as I was hungover it was delicious 😋 he was also very friendly and chatting away to a lot of the customers especially a elderly couple as the last wasn't sure what she wanted so he said I will make u some thing he made her a plate of food and she was over the moon with it nothing is to much trouble for this chef.

Excellent location for walking into Newcastle. The staff are all super friendly and really helpful. Room was comfortable and we faced the front on the road, never heard the noise so didn't disturb us at all. The room was clean and mini bar stocked with water and juice.

Nice ambiance here It’s probably the best hotel eating experience I’ve had in a while. Italian restaurant in the hotel very nice food complete with pizza fired oven. Having chicken curry with trimmings tasted top … fish cakes was a good choice has well. Overhaul good experience 5 minutes walk from Jesmond station Recommended here.

I CAN NOT fault these at all! The staff are so friendly and make sure everything goes so smooth, a very special thank you to Lisa Ferrie and Elliot Kelly the communication and organisation was perfect!! Lisa you made the process so smooth and your enthusiasm is just what a bride and groom needs for their big day! Elliot you were just constantly on the baack for the little things that typically can go wrong on the day! You both deserve a medal!

This is the second visit to this hotel and again it was a great experience. The first time we went was for my husbands 50th birthday and we enjoyed it so much we went for our 20 year wedding anniversary. On check in, we were surprised to find we had been upgraded as our daughter had put a note in our booking, The room was huge and was lovely, it had nice touches like dressing gowns, slippers and drinks and chocolate. We stayed last weekend for 2 nights. Every element was excellent - from the helpful, welcoming staff at reception who checked to see if my room was ready even though I was many hours early due to an early flight to the Executive Room which was excellent in size, practicality and every other element (good quality bath products, hairdryer and extremely comfortable bed) Breakfast was good value at £14. We enjoyed our stay very much. I cannot think of any negatives and we look forward to returning
