The story of a wedding day at Brooklands Museum...…
Firstly you say 'I do' in any of our Retro Historic clubhouse rooms or can you imagine saying ‘I do’ on board Concorde for an intimate ceremony for your nearest dearest following on by sipping champagne beneath its wings!
Move into the Members Bar for reception drinks; elegantly decorated in a 1920’s Art Deco theme, with its own private balcony overlooking the grounds of Brooklands Museum.
Guests are either free to wonder around the exhibits - ERA Shed, Jackson Shed and Aircraft Factory to name a few and try the F1 simulator. OR you can privately rent the sheds for just your exclusive wedding party after hours.
A call for the wedding breakfast with our car horn as guests move into either the Napier Room - boasting stylish Art Deco design, and has its own private balcony overlooking the Paddock. This suite was once used, in times gone by, to entertain the first racing drivers and their guests. Alternatively, superbly situated for a ceremony or reception, the Bluebird Room, delightfully adorned with Sir Malcolm Campbell memorabilia. You and your guests will be able to savour the views overlooking the motoring village and at the same time feel transported back in time.
Brooklands Museum can offer a number of additional unique activities to make your day even more special. Treat your guests to chauffeur driven rides in our classic kit cars (subject to availability). This thrilling activity will take your guests for a drive up Test Hill and along the famous banked track. A truly unique and memorable experience to keep your guests entertained during reception drinks.
You could enjoy evening reception drinks in our motoring exhibition surrounded by our world famous collection of Classic cars and motorbikes. You & your guests will get the opportunity to view cars such as the record breaking Napier Railton and our passionate and enthusiastic stewards will be on hand to enlighten your guests in the outstanding role
