Maximum Price
We charge a room hire fee to exclusively hire the Fountain Suite. Friday/Sunday -£1000.00 & Saturday £1500.00 when Surrey National provide your catering. We have a separate cost and brochure for those providing their own catering through a licensed caterer and this starts from £3950.00 Monday - Thursday. There is an additional £400.00 to hire the Terrace Room should you wish to marry here. We have a civil ceremony license and you would need to contact Leatherhead Council to book directly. Venue hire includes tables, chairs and linen. The use of our PA system, red carpet and easel.

Surrey National Golf Club offers two inter-connecting suites for exclusive hire, incorporating private bar & lounge areas, civil ceremony/drinks reception suite, wooden dance floor, private guest facilities and a full length balcony offering valuable outdoor space. The main suite is a large, light & spacious room with high ceilings, open fireplaces and access to the balcony and the terrace below. Enjoying fabulous views across its course from three sides the room accommodates the bar, lounge & dance floor areas and can be accessed via its own entrance or from the inter-connecting Terrace Room. Both rooms offer flexibility and versatility for larger events and both are licensed for civil ceremonies.

Truley unforgettable experience
I think that you are always going to say that your wedding was the best but we truly believe that ours was special and different. We have been to quite a few weddings this year in hotels and they were all lovely but very undescriptive and pretty much the same. We truly believe that the golf club gave us something beautiful and original to us and our day. One couple who joined us as guests were getting married in Oct this year and after seeing the venue they were completely blown away and wished they had booked it for their day. We were lucky enough to get married in one of the most beautiful Golf course it had such a stunning building with all the charm Rustic that's was just perfect for what I had in mind for decorationa Everyone couldn’t stop smiling as they drove through the grounds. It’s such an amazing start to the celebrations. Everyone was greeted with a warm welcome and we settled into the venue and day with such ease. We wanted quite a relaxed day for everyone to enjoy and that’s what we got and I would say 10 times better than we ever expected. The hospitality really made it easy for us and our friends and family to relax. We didn’t have to worry about a single aspect of the day apart from rounding up the children for the photo’s. The balcony view was amazing so many of the guests had said that It was the best they have ever seen I honestly can’t say enough good things about the golf club and how it made our day so special. I do want to thank everyone for making it was it was, which truly was the best day of our lives. I am happy to recommend this venue to anyone I meet. From the first day of viewing, through booking THE date, all the planning and changes (there were quite a few), right to the last guest leaving the golf club I cannot fault the team at Surrey national golf club

We knew our wedding reception was in safe hands
We wanted to email you about our Wedding Reception on Saturday 7th April, and in particular regarding Vali who managed our wedding reception. From the moment we met Vali, we knew our wedding reception was in safe hands. We find it hard to believe he is only a deputy manager (and you can see our reasons why below!). From start to finish he was professional yet super friendly and approachable, adaptable and understanding. His flexibility and advise with our complicated families was invaluable and we are so grateful for all his help with our table plan, lay out of the room and even removing table settings 5 mins before everyone was seated for the meal without anyone noticing! When it came down to our food service, my father (a retired chef and F&B manager) even said his managerial experience with the delivery of a perfect food service for our 100 guests, helping and guiding the waitresses and dealing with a few of our awkward guests in such a professional manner is something he has only seen in someone twice his age (and my father is very hard to please!). We even appreciated the small things Vali did - wearing our colour scheme on our wedding day and even being a great help to our family friend (the florist) who had been let down by a staff member and he bent over backwards to help her set up and even for his help the next morning. Our suppliers have even spoken so highly of Vali. Our photographers said he was by far one of the best managers they have worked with (and they have shot at a lot of venues in London, Surrey and Kent) and the evening entertainment said how supportive he was when they were setting up to when he finished his shift. We would also like to say all our guests have spoken so highly of the food so a big thank you to chef for his hard work. From the incredible spicey thai style chicken skewers in the canapes to the amazing chocolate dessert (which was even better than we remembered) and a perfect cheese tower in the evening buffet, we are so grateful to have had such a talented chef catering our wedding. Vali went above and beyond all expectations we had of Surrey National and by all means we will be recommending your venue for any event, and in particular Vali as a manager to our friends and family! We hope to come to one of your Sunday carveries in the near future as we never managed to make one before the wedding. Many thanks, Catherine and James

Fantastic Wedding Venue
Karen and I were married at Surrey National Golf Club on Saturday. It was an ideal venue for what we wanted: a single location for both our ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception. The ceremony room was an ideal size for our 100-or-so guests. We enjoyed the self-drive buggy experience down to the golf course, where our photographer was able to take some lovely shots in front of the iconic fountain, with the clubhouse as a backdrop. The meal was delicious, served hot. Service was very good. The dance floor in the middle was conducive to a great atmosphere in the evening. Caroline was a helpful event coordinator from start to finish, and we were grateful for the efforts of Vali and the rest of the catering team as we neared the day and on the day itself.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

We have had so many great weddings at Surrey National it would be hard to choose. I personally love the chatter and laughter at weddings when friends and family who may have not seen each other for a while get together. To me a great wedding is superb food, good music, plenty of dancing, a well stocked bar and one large space so you don't lose your guests in other rooms!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Your wedding day is so special and you won't want it to end. Give yourself plenty of time throughout the day to have your photographs, mingle with your guests and just enjoy every moment. It really is a day you cherish forever.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

I love a themed wedding so it's the attention to detail with favours, stationary, décor, personalised gifts.

Modern barn, charming, spacious, well lit & versatile.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Balcony shots are breathtaking. Perfect for group photos with stunning views across the downs.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Yes but I wouldn't be at liberty to say who.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Easy, mini Yorkshire pudding filled with beef fillet and horseradish - Yum!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Bacon Butty!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

I would say we treat every wedding as bespoke and therefore tailor to our customer's needs. This could be adapting the menu to accommodate a theme or dietary request, sourcing a certain brand of drink from our supplier and our flexibility.
