The story behind this photo: “Hungry dog at a wedding reception…loved its bow tie!”

Why we chose this photo as our overall winner: What a beautifully captured, funny and memorable photo! We adore the little dog’s cheeky expression as it eyes up the platters, and the way it stands to the side, front legs held up, like it’s one of the human guests. The purple bow tie adds to the comical effect and gives this photo real personality. We love the brightness of this shot too, with the vibrant saturated colours standing out against the black background.

Why we shortlisted this photo: This little dog’s sleepy expression is so adorable! We love the way it rests its chin on the table, and looks directly at the camera.

The story behind this photo: “Liz loves goats! So when she found out that the venue had their very own goats we decided to meet them. The goat was not fussed about us so much and had an obsession with Liz’s beautiful colourful bouquet!”

Why we shortlisted this photo: This photo really made us smile – the goat’s cheekiness, the colourful flowers, the bride’s laughter. Everything about it is uplifting and joyful.

Why we shortlisted this photo: A super fun and unique take on the pets at weddings theme! We love the perspective from the ground up, with the couple crouching at the pig’s level.
