Stowe House is a dry hire venue only. Reduced hire prices can be offered for ceremony only bookings and weekdays.
For larger events, marquees can be accommodated on our South Lawn where a ground hire fee will be charged, marquees will need to be hired in from an approved marquee supplier for an additional fee.

Located in South Buckinghamshire, Stowe House can be exclusively yours for your special day, whether a wedding, anniversary, or birthday party. The State Rooms range from intimate spaces for 40, to larger spaces for up to 160 guests. Evening Receptions can be held for up to 200 guests, and for those looking for a larger event, our South Lawn is ideal for the perfect marquee wedding.
As events are only permitted to take place during school holidays, your event would be one of only a unique few that take place onsite each year, making Stowe perfect for those looking for a distinctive celebration location.

Our dream wedding venue!
Stowe House really is/was our dream wedding venue that exceeded all our expectations (even after seeing it multiple times!). One of the things we've been most complemented on after our big day was how stunning and unique our wedding venue was, which speaks volumes! The Marble Saloon in particular, where our ceremony took place, left everyone in awe.
Megan and Beth at Stowe House were exceptional, ensuring every detail was flawlessly executed. From the attentive event coordinators to the team as a whole, their professionalism added to the overall seamless experience.

Stowe House is an incredible wedding venue. The architecture is stunning throughout, and the views across the lawn to the lake are breathtaking. The layout of the venue's rooms works perfectly for weddings, and it could comfortably accommodate over 200 guests. The Event Manager who was our primary contact throughout was excellent. Very responsive, flexible and very easy to get on with. We had a few non-standard requests, and they always found a way to accommodate us. I would highly recommend Stowe House to anyone looking for a magical wedding, and a truly unforgettable day.

The most gorgeous wedding venue
We had the most magical wedding at Stowe House. From the moment we first spoke with Nikki it was a dream to work with her. They were so flexible and accommodating, and having someone as helpful as Nikki made wedding planning during COVID much easier than it could have been! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and we feel so lucky to have got married there. Thank you to Nikki and the whole team at Stowe!! :)

The venue speaks for itself, absolutely amazing.
We had our wedding here in 2017. The staff were fantastic, professional and kind, helped organise everything with plenty of suggestions. The venue speaks for itself, absolutely amazing. There are only 10 or so weddings a year so is a bit more exclusive, your guests are unlikely to go to another wedding like this! Also a lot better value for money than every other venue of similar stature I looked at, also a lot cheaper than a lot worse venues! The most magical day at the most magical venue.

Beautiful venue
So beautiful! We got engaged in the gardens so it was perfect to be able to have our ceremony in the house. We got married in the Marble Saloon and it barley needs dressing up to look amazing. Everyone we spoke to about our wedding were lovely and helpful diapite restrictions due to Covid-19.

Describe the best wedding that happened at Stowe House?
One of our favourites was this Summer, the couple introduced a lot of unique touches to the day. Post dinner they served espresso martinis on the South Portico overlooking the National Trust grounds once they were closed, they had a DJ set up so guests could see the sun setting whilst enjoying the music and the cocktails.
