We are a rustic barn venue with a traditional hop hung pub and extensive country gardens. Your civil ceremony may take place in either the atmospheric, majestic barn or under our hedgerow gazebo in the garden, our ancient weeping willow forming a natural photographic backdrop. As an independent family business we offer an individual relaxed planning process to your unique wedding, being flexible in our offerings yet taking the stress of much of the planning away from you. Our catering is provided in house, our bars in both barn and pub fully stocked and staffed and our staff are on hand to guide you through.

The perfect wedding day!!!

My husband and I got married at the Plough in August the year. We honestly had the best day of our lives. Everything was just perfect. The staff at the Plough were amazing from the beginning to the end, they made us feel relaxed and at ease. All of the guests commented on how tasty the food was and how lovely the venue and staff were. We even had our little dog join us for the day!! Our son and niece had the time of their lives as they were happy playing in the garden and dancing in the barn!! We used the house DJ and CS creative events to decorate the Plough (both recommended by the venue), they were both faultless and amazing and the barn looked stunning!! I would highly recommend having your wedding here!

The most beautiful venue!

Choosing The Plough as our wedding venue has been the best decision we made! We knew we wanted a barn as our wedding setting, with some lovely outdoor space and lots of green. And the Plough has just that and so much more! From the first meeting with Hazel to all the subsequent ones with Della and Becky, they have been nothing but helpful and accommodating, and most importantly, they understood completely our vision for the big day, and they did an incredible job at making it all come to life just the way we dreamed it would look! We got so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue looked and how absolutely delicious the food was. Since we had our menu testing we knew it was going to be a hit! I cannot recommend them enough, the most beautiful venue, with a stunning rustic and cozy barn and a beautiful garden! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone at the Plough who made our day unforgettable!

Incredible day

Della and Becky were great at accomodating us, with timings (both early and late) communication and reassurance. The Plough is a gorgeous place to celebrate a marriage rain or shine. The barn is stunning and the food has been complimented by all of my family since. Would highly recommend!

The most popular and most chosen canape at The Plough is our Kentish Yorkie with sticky honey & mustard chipolata - also a signature starter on our pub menu, so always available to enjoy when you visit. Our Cauliflower and sage bhaji being a close runner up - enjoyed by omnivores, veggie and vegan guest alike!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Pizza by the meter is our incredible new hit at The Plough - base and toppings freshly made with love and served cut into 20 slices on a meter long log slice! Perfection.
