The Wild Apple Orchard
A naturally flourishing meadow created by our estate gardener, offering a serene, romantic setting for outdoor vows among wildlife and wild grasses. Seats up to 150 guests.
The Old Malt Granary
A beautifully restored indoor ceremony space with high ceilings, exposed beams, original brickwork, and abundant natural light. Ideal for civil ceremonies, blessings, and vow renewals for up to 150 guests.
The Chapel House (1290)
Steeped in history, this intimate space is perfect for elopements and micro‑weddings of up to 15 people, offering a deeply atmospheric backdrop.

A refined, light‑filled space ideal for intimate dining, celebrations, or post‑wedding breakfasts. Seats up to 60 by day or hosts up to 100 for evening gatherings.

The grounds are very clean and well-kept. Access is via a long driveway, which is unmarked on most smartphone apps. There is also a good-sized car park within a hundred yards of the venue. Didn't stay onsite but there are a few lodges nearby to hire.Went to a wedding reception here. The venue is a good size, probably for up to 100 people. Guests were also able to choose their meals in advance, which went down a treat and made the dining experience feel really personal and thoughtful. However, it’s the staff who truly make Chapel House so special. They go above and beyond, both in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day itself, to ensure everything runs perfectly. We had Jade as our wedding coordinator, and she was nothing short of exceptional. She made sure the entire day ran smoothly, put us completely at ease, and even came to the rescue with wardrobe malfunctions and childcare. Jade made us feel genuinely cared for — she even remembered my wife’s birthday (the day after our wedding) and brought her a card. It’s just one example of her incredible attention to detail. We had around 90 guests in the day and 135 in the evening. Did we pay a little more than other venues... Yes... But not by much. The VALUE chapel house provides over the other 6 venues we visited makes it a complete no brainer. Having the accommodatio on site saves a huge amount of money and I would say makes it far cheaper overall.We got married on Monday 20th October. it was an amazing day, despite the changeable weather featuring sunshine, very heavy rain and some strong winds at times too. I came across it by chance and am so pleased I did. As soon as we looked around we knew this is where we wanted to get married. The whole day ran so smoothly from start to finish. The food was amazing, we had canapés after our ceremony in the gorgeous courtyard area then a buffet meal as we had a twilight wedding and the stone baked pizzas in the evening. There was so much food bursting with flavour so much variety to choose from and they catered well for our friends and family with intolerances. Our friends and family were overwhelmed with the venue and staff and all had the most amazing day. I cannot praise or recommend Chapel House Estate enough.
