The Five Bells

The Five Bells is a refurbished 17th century village pub, now offering a range of hotel accommodation and food. We are situated in the rural village of Ringwould in Kent which offers lovely walks and great views across the countryside towards the coast. Nelson's Seat is a 5 minute walk away and this is from where Admiral Nelson surveyed his fleet when it was anchored on the Downs. Ringwould is one of the oldest villages in the country, dating back to Anglo Saxon times. We have a fully stocked bar offering beers, wines and an array of spirits. Why not combine this with a meal in our bright and airy restaurant serving a wide range of locally sourced, home cooked meals. Our Sunday roast has to be tried to be believed! Finally, why not top it off with a night in one of our elegantly designed guest rooms, complete with TV, WiFi and facilities for making tea & Coffee. We are close to several Championship golf courses, including Royal St Georges, Sandwich; Cinque Ports and Princes. We are within 10 minutes of the Ferry Terminal and 10 minutes of the Cruise Terminal. We can arrange transport to the ferry terminal or cruise terminal at very competitive rates. The fast train to London calls at Deal Station which is 10 minutes away from us. We can collect you from or deliver you to the station for a small fee.
