Describe the best wedding that happened at Sussex County Cricket Ground?
I will let Ben and John or first same sex wedding event. We had the most wonderful wedding day at The Sussex County Cricket Ground. Initially when my now Husband suggested it as a possible venue I was unsure as I imagined it as a cold corporate space. I was bowled over when we went for our initial visit! It has a really warm and inviting atmosphere and was the ideal space for our wedding day. It is such a flexible space and the events team were brilliant in helping us to decide how to best use that space. The Long Room made the perfect setting for our Wedding ceremony with room for over 100 guests able to attend. The day itself went without a hitch testament to the organisation of the staff and we had the most wondrous day of our lives! Thank you

Research and remember family and friends can take the strain off on the day and during preparations. Look out for venues that push up prices in peak season, there is so much choice out there.

We surprised the kids at a BBQ wedding with our club mascot Sid the Shark. They loved it, and it made a real difference to the children in attendance.
