LIMEKILN is set against a backdrop of Sussex countryside and ancient woodland — from which the lodge takes its name — making it a fully private space for clients looking for an exclusive-use venue. The interior design is led by Red Deer; the creative studio behind Lina Stores and St John.
There’s a large dining space for 200 guests, a bar and lounge, plus two further spaces for private dining, partying, presentations or ceremonies, all centred around an open-air courtyard. A split-level Apartment can be used as a pre-party dressing area or meeting space.
Each room allows clients the freedom to choose a format that suits their requirements.
The lodge is within easy reach of London; just a 50-minute train ride from London Bridge, and 15-minute drive from Tunbridge Wells station.
Hosting everything from weddings and blowout parties, to team away days, creative showcases and product launches, LIMEKILN is a place to gather great people and create meaningful moments.

From the first time we viewed the venue we knew it was the one, it has such a warm cosy yet modern vibe. When you view it in real life vs online it has even more of a wow factor. The interiors as well as the exteriors are stunning. We even loved it so much we cancelled our other viewings! The venue itself is immaculately kept, with spaces that are both architecturally elegant and impressively versatile. Every detail, from the layout to the finishes, feels thoughtful and intentional. The outside/garden area is restful and beautifully tendered. Plenty of seats available.Attended a fabulous wedding here yesterday. What a wonderful venue. The staff were amazing. Is it an exclusive hire venue?
Yes! We hire the lodge just for the two of you and all of your friends.
Do you have outside options?
Yes! We do have the South Lawn and the Woodlands - both licensed for ceremonies
Can I use my own florist?
Of course, we do have a list of suggested suppliers for you but you're welcome to explore your own.
Can we bring our own drinks?
We'd love to host all of your drinks, if there is something particular you need just let us know and we can discuss options together.
Are there bedrooms on site?
Sadly not, but we are really well connected with hotels and local air bnbs!
Do you have some good spots for photos?
We love to see couple portraits in our wildflower meadows, and the dance floor photos in the evening!
What is your payment process?
We can hold a date for 7 days and following this, there is an initial instalment and 3 split payments.
Do you manage the day?
We will always be on hand to ensure timings are running smoothly and to greet your suppliers, guests and look after the lodge!
Do you have a getting ready space?
We do, the apartment is a split level space for you to get ready from 8am.
