Firle Place is a Georgian, private estate in the heart of the Sussex countryside offering a wonderful location for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Choose from The Georgian Riding School with its croquet lawns and lakeside location or The South Lawn for a beautiful and impressive marquee. All weddings at Firle can also make use of the stunning areas in front of the house for reception drinks and photos. As featured in the acclaimed cinema release of Jane Austen's Emma. Beautifully styled but with the option to create a bespoke day around your visions, we also have a fantastic team on hand to help you make it happen.

Incredible venue and team!!
We got married at Firle Place in May 2023. We could not have been happier with the experience - Chloe and Blue Door were amazing from the moment we contacted them for a viewing. They could not have been more helpful and professional the whole way through, especially in being incredibly helpful with finding the right suppliers for us. They day went like clockwork in the most BEAUTIFUL location we could ever have imagined (safe to say the photos look amazing). I couldn't recommend Firle Place for a wedding!!

Firle Place is absolutely stunning and the different areas lend itself perfectly to a Wedding. The flexibility that Firle offers is fantastic, in comparison to other venues, they gave us the opportunity to create the day exactly as we wished. We could not have wished for a better day and Firle was the perfect setting. Thanks again, you were amazing!

Perfect end of summer wedding
We first visited Firle in December 2021 and fell in love with it. I used to be a Wedding planner and wanted a venue different to what I used to work in. Firle fitted the bill perfectly. There are so many parts of the grounds that it creates different spaces to use throughout the day. The house and is stunning and the perfect setting for the ceremony itself. you can then enjoy reception drinks on the front lawn before moving to the croquet lawn for more drinks and canape's. The Riding School is the perfect setting for the Wedding Breakfast and evening party.
It really is a wonderful venue and Bryony and Chloe at Blue Door couldn't have been more helpful.

The venue and grounds are just stunning
What can I say! The ladies and Firle place were fabulous. The venue and grounds are just stunning and I am still in shock at how beautiful our wedding day was. Bryony and Chloe are fantastic. They really are seasoned professionals and it shows in how easy they make the whole process. Nothing was stood much trouble for them. We choose Bryony to be our on the day management for the day and it really took the pressure off of us. I would highly recommend this services. We are still pinching ourselves that it was actually our wedding and I cannot recommend the venue and blue door weddings enough. A million thank you’s always, we will never forget! Xxxx
