We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for helping to make our day so special. You were so kind and accommodating with the planning and made us feel like nothing was so too much trouble. Everything on the day ran like clockwork and all our guests were impressed with the beautiful venue and how welcome they were made to feel. We had the most magical day. The most perfect day

I can’t recommend Rowhill Grange highly enough. We had our wedding there in May 2024 and had the most perfect day. Emilia and the team have been fantastic from start to finish, I would also shout out to Karis who was amazing on the day and kept everything running like clockwork. The package we booked included John the DJ who was also fantastic along with all the staff at Rowhill. We honestly couldn’t have wished for anything more.

Our Perfect Wedding Day

We got married at Rowhill Grange on the 25th March 2023. Hanna was our events coordinator in the run up to the big day. Whilst we obviously appreciated her professional approach, we absolutely loved the way that she was also so informal and friendly. Nothing was a problem for her and she pulled out all the stops to make sure that we had the day we wanted. All the staff on the day were fantastic and had the same blend of professionalism and informal friendliness. The venue itself was stunning.

I held my wedding at Rowhill Grange last Sunday and the service leading up to and including the day from the events team was outstanding. Any questions prior to the day were answered very promptly and nothing felt like it was to much trouble. Both Hanna and Abbie gave me full confidence with the way they managed all the details that everything would run according to plan on the day. We had the perfect wedding day at the perfect venue. We held our wedding in The Clockhouse. Abbie and team were very helpful and professional from the start. Food was delicious, the venue lovely and the bedrooms stunning. Special mention to Moses who acted as MC and put everyone at ease. Bar service was excellent and never had to queue for a drink and John the DJ had everyone dancing all night, all in all everybody had a great time

Cannot thank Rowhill Grange and all of their amazing staff for making our wedding day so perfect. We had the best day and a special thanks to Hanna and Steve on the day who worked so hard and did an amazing job to make sure everything ran smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing leading up to the wedding or on the day. Every single wedding we host here at Rowhill Grange has a uniqueness to it, the best ones are always those where the couple have added their own personality & personal touches to the big day! Whether that be via their song choices, personalised favours on the table, a theme throughout the day or a giant white bouncy castle on our outside lawn, those that are the most memorable are the ones with something that stands out!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

This day is about you two as a couple, everyone else is just a part of it! Be organised yet flexible when it comes to your approach for the day, the ultimate goal of the day is to end up married & that will always be met, whether the seating plan took hours for someone to sit in the wrong space or if the weather just wasn't what you wanted you'll still end up married!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

We love seeing a couple's personality shine through a wedding! Whether that be in the theming i.e. the table names - which I've seen named after destinations the couple have visited together, or in the place cards. My personal favourite was when a couple instead of place cards used a polaroid photo of themselves with each guest instead of their name.

This would entirely depend on the weather, the season & the photographer. There are so many fantastic photo opportunities throughout the whole of the venue, however our outdoor ceremony Gazebo looks stunning in the summer & the balcony on the front of our Clock House looks beautiful in all weathers.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa?

We like to make every couple feel like celebrities on their wedding day! - however if cheesy lines aren't you thing we have had Rio Ferdinand appear & a magical appearence from Daniel Radcliffe aka. Harry Potter.

What’s your favourite canapé?

By far it has to be the Cumberland Chipolata, Grain Mustard & Rowhill Grange Honey!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Who doesn't love a Bacon Bap before bed just in case you don't quite make it to breakfast? Although I am absolutely torn between the Bacon Bap & the mini Fish & Chip cone!

Weddings as an industry have really taken a hit over the last two years, with couples having to make adaptations to their day or postpone to later dates throughout all of this our resilience has really shown through, we have always been dedicated and committed to giving every couple the day of their dreams.
