The stunning MacMillan room provides a breath-taking backdrop for your ceremony, looking out over the Zoo’s stunning gardens, the city of Edinburgh and across to the Pentland hills. With a colour palette of Wedgewood blues and a fabulous period fireplace, this room will add a touch of grandeur to your day.
After the ceremony, join us in our magnificent oak panelled Geddes and Gillespie suite. From this room, you will have direct access to our beautiful Mansion House gardens where you can enjoy the breath-taking scenery and panoramic views.
We understand that planning your wedding can be stressful, but rest assured that our dedicated wedding team will be on hand to make the experience as enjoyable and seamless as possible. The rooms were lovely, set out well and with fabulous views. Being able to visit the animals was a bonus!!
The food was great, really organised, tasty and served hot. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful.
The lady who coordinated the wedding was brilliant, she explained everything and thought ahead.
Overall we had a wonderful day, all of the venue staff were amazing, helpful, friendly and knew what they were doing. It made the day go so smoothly. Thank you so much!! 5⭐️Review!!

From start to finish the whole experience was without compare. The helpfulness of all the staff was above and beyond from seeing the venue, choosing the food to the actual day. Tailoring the day to our desires and needs never seemed too much of a hassle. Everything was well prepare and they happily assisted us put our final personal touches. The day was organised and ran smoothly leaving us relaxed and able to enjoy our time. The food was great and everyone commented that it was the best wedding

From start to finish the day was perfect and everything went according to plan. Talking about planning, Kimberley was amazing and was always on hand before the big day to chat about what we wanted from food to timings. There wasn't anything that couldn't be done.
We got lucky with the weather on our day so managed to get lots of gorgeous photos of the grounds and even if it were raining there was still lots of amazing photo opportunities inside the venue - particularly the main ceremony room.

It was a wonderful day in a spectacular setting
I was Mother of the groom at the above wedding and just wanted to send my personal thanks to all who were involved in helping us have such a great time. It was a wonderful day in a spectacular setting and must have taken a lot of hard work from a lot of people. I would like to say particular thanks to Alan, ( for sorting out the cake for me), and to Darren and Taylor for generally helping me out, but especially for their encouragement and help in preparing a special little surprise for the bride on her wedding morning.
