The hotel itself is an 18th-century manor, but has been recently refurbished with luxurious and contemporary décor. Hosted my grandson's wedding reception. Rooms, big, clean and comfortable. Food excellent, both Friday and Saturday, wedding breakfast. Staff very helpful, friendly and ready to assist in any way. Nice grounds, plenty to parking, hotel on the sea front. Easy walking along the promenade. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to have your wedding reception.

Me and my partner come for a friends wedding and the whole venue is amazing. Perfect place to have your wedding reception. The food for the reception was amazing and view of the sea in beyond incredible. Big thank to the guys who did the food and drinks service were very professional. What an amazing day

The staff at the hythe imperial were amazing. I won't lie we got off to a rocky start as we booked along way in advance and then there were staff changes and we felt we got list along the way a little, but once Jules got involved she really put my mind at ease. I was so nervous and anxious about it being right but she met with me as many times as I needed. The day went without a hitch (that I was aware off). We had a family friend do the service, (much cheaper option than getting a celebrant in) so wasn't a legal wedding at the venue, we did that the day before. My disabled Auntie, her carer and my Nan were all accomodated so well that I didn't need to worry about them and just enjoyed their company. We were able to have most of our photos on the beach and the kids got to paddle. Food was amazing and we knew exactly how good it was going to be from the pre-wedding tasting meal. (We thought this was going to just be samples but was a full 3 course meal for us both). Just a brilliant venue, amazing team and amazing Day.

The best idea I have seen recently would be instead of table numbers, a couple named their tables after cities in Europe they’d visited and on each table, they had a photo of the two of them in front of the a landmark from that city - it was fun for the guests to work out what table they were on.
