The Grain Store at Hawthbush offers a magical countryside setting for your special day. With a beautifully converted barn, stretch tent, firepit field, and woodland blessing area, where you can host up to 150-180 guests in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Both the barn and woodland are licensed for weddings, and the bar is fully stocked with Gun Beer. Exclusive use of the space allows for setup the afternoon before and time to enjoy the morning after. To give you some idea of the package we offer, for 2025, our venue prices are as follows: · Exclusive hire fee is £4,950 for weekend events (and bank holidays) during peak season (April - October). We also offer a midweek wedding package for £3,950. · Both options include access to the wedding barn, stretch tent, BBQ barn and lawn, and the licensed woodland ceremony area. · Enjoy a relaxed setup the day before from midday and check-out the day after until midday

Our wedding at Hawthbush Farm was magical.

We held our wedding at Hawthbush Farm and it was magical. We got married in a beautiful spot in the woods and held our reception in a beautiful building at the top of the farm. We still often get compliments and comments from friends about how unique and special our wedding was.

It was totally the right choice!

We had our wedding at Hawthbush Farm and we're totally blown away by how special it was. Right from the start we were looked after by the team who made everything easy and really reaffirmed that we'd made the right decision. The ceremony itself was held down in the wooded clearing under a huge oak tree which is in itself a magical experience. We loved the way the farm has very beautiful cottages for guests to stay in (with an amazing outdoor hot tub!) but also camping which many guests too up!

We have the most cherished memories of our wedding at Hawthbush Farm… from the very beginning of planning our celebration we knew we wanted a venue that offered a less formal and more relaxed setting, and Hawthbush Farm exceeded all our expectations. Enchanting, romantic and fun are the three words that best describe our weekend. The wholesome and relaxed atmosphere of the venue, coupled with the beautiful setting, created the perfect backdrop for our candid style photography.

All our guests commented on the exceptional food.

Hawthbush was the perfect setting for our special day. We picked it just in case the English weather didn’t hold up for us as there is so much inside or covered space, however we were super lucky and the sun shined. We found the venue and team had a professional and relaxed approach, which was exactly what we wanted. We were able to cruise through our special day and enjoy every moment. In the evening we had a band who were excellent too and the venue transformed into party central! Loved it

Full of gratitude and love for this magical place

It might sound cliché, but truthfully, my husband and I had the best time of our lives holding our wedding weekend at Hawthbush Farm in July 2024 which far exceeded our already high expectations of the place. One of our many, many highlights was getting married in the woodland clearing underneath an ancient oak tree. What makes this venue so standout is that you have a great combination of having freedom to make it your own, whilst also having a lot of support on site

Where to start - we had the absolute best time on our wedding day and couldn't be happier with our decision to get married at Hawthbush. It's such a beautiful and unique setting and we were incredibly lucky with the weather (though it would have been beautiful, even in the rain). The venue felt so relaxed and magical - everything had been thought of. The combination of indoor and outdoor space worked really well - there was something for all our guests both during the day and into the evening.

What’s your favourite canapé?

We are excited to introduce our new canapés menu for 2025. In the past, I particularly enjoyed the delectable Arancini balls, which were one of my favourites!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Pizza are a perfect grab and go snack for guests to enjoy, or if you’re looking for a whimsical experience, how about an Ice cream truck to trigger a bit of nostalgia. If possible, include some frozen yogurt and non-dairy options too.

What is Hawthbush Farm most unique feature?

We have some really lovely accommodation options at the farm including our popular 7-bedroom Hamlet, and a 3-bedroom cottage which is located just near the wedding venue. We also have a private glamping site that can accommodate around 20 guests featuring pre-erected bell tents and two Shepherd's huts. In total we can sleep approximately 43 guests.

One of the most lovely aspects of choosing Hawthbush as your wedding venue is the flexibility we offer to design a celebration that is uniquely yours. We provide you with the freedom to decorate the wedding barn and the lawn according to your vision, and we ensure you have ample time to do so. With only one wedding hosted per weekend, you can enjoy a leisurely preparation on Friday afternoon and a relaxed checkout on Sunday.
