- Within the Castle we can host civil ceremonies and celebrations to suit any style of wedding whether you are looking for something more traditional, informal or extravagant.
- As well as the reception rooms, there are also numerous unique features including the spectacular Cantilevered Stairway, Central Stone Staircase with decorative ceiling, captivating cloisters and hidden doorways.
- We are pleased to be able to offer both indoor and outdoor spaces for your ceremony. The Chapel is perfect for a traditional style ceremony or blessing, with huge stained glass windows, pews and an ornate painted ceiling.
- The Central Courtyard offers a magnificent setting, with ornamental trees and views down to the Gatehouse, surrounded by original crenellation.
- For your reception, the castle is a fantastic entertaining space with great versatility. Welcome your guests in the Library, with glorious views and steps down to the South Lawns. Here they can enjoy drinks and canapes.
- The grand Ballroom is a spectacular location for the wedding breakfast. With tall ceilings, lavish chandeliers and grand mirrors it offers the perfect backdrop for your first meal as a married couple.
- We have carefully created our menus to include a wide variety of exciting dishes, beautifully presented, using only the highest quality ingredients, which are locally sourced wherever possible. There is also a ceremonial sword to cut your wedding cake.
- The castle grounds boast a wide array of gardens offering endless possibilities for exquisite photographs. These include stunning water features, island Pavilions, a waterfall and a 200 year old Wisteria Arch. The Gothic Tower at the centre of the maze offers panoramic views of the estate.
- There are 24 spacious guest bedrooms, for family and friends to stay, with breakfast in the impressive formal Dining Room the following morning. Here you can really enjoy the intimacy of your exclusive castle getaway.

Other venues we went to just couldn’t compare!
I found Hampton Court Castle by accident. A year before we got engaged, the venue came up in my line of work. One of my colleagues had been there, so I looked it up online and noticed that they host weddings. I kept thinking about it when we got engaged and I definitely wanted to view it. Other venues we went to couldn’t compare and that was just to the photos of Hampton Court Castle! When we finally went to our viewing, we only got as far as the driveway and we knew it was the one. Even before we got inside!
Our experience getting married at Hampton Court Castle was a dream come true. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue and I will never be able to get over the fact that we were married there. It was everything and more.

Couldn't fault the day at all
We had the most wonderful weekend at Hampton court, and we really couldn't fault the day at all. It all ran so smoothly, and I'm so thankful that we had so little to worry about on the day, so we could just try to take it all in. If we were to do it all over again we'd be back at Hampton Court in a heartbeat.

The staff on the day were incredibly attentive and the whole weekend was a seamless experience
The impeccable grounds and rooms formed the perfect weekend and we were delighted to be blessed with incredible weather. The courtyard was the perfect spot for the ceremony but knowing we could use the chapel (also beautiful) if the weather didn’t hold gave us a huge level of comfort. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
A gorgeous couple from Brazil, the bride was Brazilian and the groom English. It was such a romantic wedding and the weather for the ceremony in the Castle Courtyard couldn’t have been better. They had lots of live music, including a small band playing in the Arkwright Courtyard after the meal on the Friday night. There were lots of little Brazilian touches with gorgeous flowers and colours. They made really good use of the venue and had great guests. It was such a fun wedding to be part of.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try and enjoy the planning process and not get too many others involved - it’s your day.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A pretty sweet cart built by the bride’s father especially for the wedding.

Breathtaking, romantic, historic, serene and flexible.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Too many to choose from! If I really had to choose then perhaps the maze or the waterfall.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Olympic medal winner, Laura Deas whose wedding was then featured in Hello magazine.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Chase Gin & Tonic Cured Salmon, Pickled Lemon, Cucumber & Dill Mayonnaise
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Well, less of a midnight treat, more of an evening buffet treat! I love the cheese board.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Probably its exclusivity. Being able to stay in the castle and have it all to yourself is quite a unique experience.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I think it is our experience of creating a day that works for each individual couple. We spend a lot of time working through ideas and details to make sure their day flows well and everyone enjoys themselves. The venue itself is quite flexible, we have had weddings here in all seasons and the most stunning opportunities for photographs. We’re lucky to be able to host such amazing weddings.
