It could be the laughter around the the building and manicured grounds heard late into the night, or the moment a father-of-the-bride, glassy-eyed and half-lost in memory, says “You’ve thought of everything.”

A Little Bit About Us

We’re a family-run, independent venue in Ross-on-Wye, set within a Grade II listed Georgian country house manor, surrounded by countryside and overlooking the Brecon Beacons. Over the years, we’ve hosted hundreds of weddings, but no two have ever felt the same, and that’s something we value.

Glewstone Court recently won Best Historic Wedding Venue in the West Midlands (2025) at The Wedding Industry Awards, and we’ve held the AA’s highest accolade for quality and service for eight years in a row. But to be honest? The real reward is seeing our couples still dropping in months later, glowing with memories of their special day flooding back.

From the moment you step through the front door, it’s about you. We’ll sit down with you, get to know your story, your vision and your non-negotiables!

We’ll walk you through the house whilst showing you how the day might unfold, how the courtyard might feel at golden hour, how we can give you a breather between ceremony and speeches or how to make sure you get a moment just the two of you.

Our team, including your dedicated wedding coordinator Charles, is calm, kind, and ruthlessly prepared. We’re creative problem-solvers, early risers, and yes, we’ve always got a safety pin.

Multi-Day Hire: Extend the celebrations!

Some couples book an extra day. Not because it’s needed, but because it’s magic. A welcome supper the night before, last-minute table plan tweaks, breakfast in robes the next morning. Guests bond. Nerves melt. It becomes less of a blur and more of a story you’ll tell forever.

All-Inclusive Wedding Packages At Glewstone Court, we believe planning your wedding should feel exciting, not overwhelming. That's why we've created a collection of thoughtfully designed all-inclusive wedding packages that bring together everything you need for an unforgettable celebration, all in one simple price. Our packages start from £4,600 for our Twilight Package in our lowest season and range up to £13,750 for our two-day Orchard Package in peak season, with options available throughout the year to suit different styles, seasons and budgets. Prices are based on 50 day and evening guests, with the flexibility to add additional guests if required on a per head basis. Every package includes exclusive use of our beautiful country house and grounds, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the venue in complete privacy. Depending on the package you choose, you'll also enjoy either a one or two night stay in our luxurious Honeymoon Suite, together with the support of both a dedicated Wedding Coordinator on the day and a Senior Wedding Coordinator throughout your planning journey. We could not recommend Glewstone Court enough! From start to finish, the whole process was seamless and the organisation was incredible. A huge thank you to Joel for helping us book our wedding, Amy for all her support throughout the nearly two years of planning, and especially Sam and Charles for making our wedding day so perfect and completely stress-free. The food was absolutely delicious and so many of our guests complimented both the food and the beautiful venue. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day. The family who run Glewstone Court work incredibly hard, and their dedication shows in every detail. They are a credit to one another and to the venue. We’ve had so many compliments about the stunning setting and the food — our BBQ and salads went down an absolute treat.No request was ever too much. I’m not even sure where to start!! From the first moment we enquired, to our visits and final meeting with Amy, to all the communication in between, Glewstone staff really do know how it’s done! And then, the big day!! We had Glewstone for 2 days, with a rehearsal the day before and our ceremony held the following day - not a single thing out of line and the days both flowed beautifully! Charles was on hand the second we arrived, helping us with everything, nothing was too much trouble (I am sure he’s superman!!)! Our wedding day was perfection, even with it being the hottest recorded day in May ever, the team of dedicated staff at Glewstone made it truly spectacular! Our guests, as well as James and I, were absolutely blown away by every single detail & the food was exquisite - big thank you to Chef & the team!! And big thank yous to Amy, Charles & Carla who made the whole day come together as seamlessly as it did, along with the whole Glewstone team! We wish we could relive it every single day! Thank you for the memories you’ve helped us make! Mr & Mrs Williams I’m not even sure where to start!! Fantastic day Fantastic day
We recently got married at glewstone court and couldn’t have asked for a better venue. From start to finish everything was amazing.The staff were attentive helpful and supportive throughout the entire planning process and especially on the day itself.The food was delicious beautifully presented with our guests commenting on how much they enjoyed it .The day could not have gone any better, I would definitely recommend glewstone court to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue with exceptional staff and fantastic food .😄We recently got married at glewstone court and couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Wow, what an incredible day we both had. It was amazing from start to finish, all of the staff went above and beyond for us, nothing was to much trouble. Massive shout out and thank you to Sam for helping us throughout the 2 days we were there, he really is a hero! I’m so happy we chose glewstone as the place we got married everything was perfect and the food was insane! All my guests a week later are complimenting everything saying it was the best wedding they had ever been too. Thank you to everyone at glewstone, from the bottom of our hearts Wow, what an incredible day we both had. It was amazing from start to finish, all of the staff went above and beyond for us, nothing was to much trouble. As soon as we left the venue, we both knew it was the perfect venue for us and Charles had given us 100% confidence the venue would deliver. Sam, Charles and all of the staff were exceptional throughout the weekend. If felt like if we ever need anything, Sam or Charles would appear at exactly the right time. The delivery of our weekend and our vision was flawless. We particularly loved the 48-hour private hire element. This is not something we had considered until we viewed the venue. We simply cannot believe we were lucky enough to get married at Glewstone Court! As well as being a truly stunning venue, from our first enquiry with Joel, and our viewing with Sam we knew Glewstone was a special place. It is clear everyone cares deeply and wanted us to have the best day. The whole team are amazing and Amy was a god send while planning, answering all my questions and communicating everything clearly. We knew exactly what to expect on the day thanks to her attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble. Having the venue for 48 hours was such a great option and we're so glad we opted for it. From arrival right through to departure, Sam and Charles were truly incredible. Helping unload and ensure everything went where it should, they really took all the stress out of final preparations. On the morning of the wedding, we could not have asked for more. Checking in and keeping us updated on set up they knew the perfect balance of keeping us informed and letting us enjoy our morning. Then there's the food; phenomenal! Every dish was delicious and cooked to perfection. We were blown away by the quality.
