New for 2023! The Square is a stunning new venue based in the original stable block where the zoo began back in the 1930s. Offering a large open plan venue as well as a set of unique smaller meeting spaces, the Grade II listed building has been sustainably renovated into a timeless space where old meets new.
Square one of our zoo - We’re breathing new life into square one of our zoo. You’ll find The Square in a secluded setting in the heart of the zoo. Featuring an impressive gated entrance, the building features a large private courtyard, exposed brick walls, vaulted rafters, large feature windows overlooking the garden and a host of original features which tell the story of the original building.

The best day of our lifes
We'd like to give a special thank you to the zoo staff for being so accommodating and everyone else involved with ensuring everything ran smoothly. The planning of the day was exceptional with open lines of communication to have all your questions answered. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We had the best day of our lives and it was the perfect venue. The food venue and planning went so smoothly that nothing in our day went wrong it was outstanding! The food was also very high standard and very tasty! We have had many compliments on the wedding and the food! We could not have asked for more. Considering our special day was the first one held there since it was refurbished it was faultless! Would highly recommend this to anyone! Seeing animals on your wedding day is also very special! Beautiful venue very spacious with a lot of natural lighting too! I genuinely can't express what an amazing place/venue this is to get married in!

There are many photo opportunities across the 128 acres of zoological gardens, my favourite backdrop is our Islands where you can be immersed in the tropical environments of six South East Asian islands.

Our roasted Cheshire fillet with duck fat chip and béarnaise sauce is stunning and gets great feedback.

Our animals make for an unforgettable experience, your wedding also funds our mission to prevent extinction.
