Hilltop Country House is a beautiful and unique venue, with a serene setting like no where else. Admits open fields and well-maintained gardens, abundant with flowers for all seasons, stands a 17th century house bursting with character, and a contemporary marquee idyllic for your wedding.
We are proud winners of The Best Venue in Cheshire 2022 as voted by our wonderful couples, families and guests at the North West Wedding Awards.
Our wonderful team, including in-house wedding coordinator, chef and director of music, will work closely with you to ensure we translate your ideas into a seamless realization of your perfect day. The close relationship that we form with all our couples allows you to relax and enjoy the entire process - without having to think about a thing.
We have three gorgeous ceremony options to suit all weddings. Whether within the billiard room, marquee or on the terrace, all overlook the wonderful gardens and create the perfect setting to say your vows. Our marquee is fitted with glass bifold doors, chic bar and huge boogie room. Along with the outdoor bar with built in pizza oven and BBQ, Hilltop Country House has so much to offer for your special day.
On-site we have four modern bedrooms, all ensuite with fabulous views. The bridal suite is not only the perfect space to spend your time after the best day of your lives, but ideal to enjoy the morning being pampered and prepped.
Additionally, we also have a good number of rooms available at a newly built spa and hotel, just 5 minutes down the road from Hilltop Country House.

Nothing was too much trouble
Just a quick note to say thank you for enabling us to have a fabulous wedding day for our daughter Becky and her new husband Lee. Everybody was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was excellent. Iain's food was just delicious and Joe was a excellent photographer, kind, professional and unobtrusive.

I don't know where to start with the words to begin and describe how amazing this venue and the team who run it are!
On our first visit to Hilltop we fell in love with the surroundings, the gardens, the views, the house, the marquee….just EVERYTHING. We loved the homely and family run nature of the business.
We subsequently got married at Hilltop late February 2023 and could not have asked for a more perfect venue. Our day was just fabulous from start to finish.

Clare showed myself and my family around the beautiful venue of Hilltop Country House. From arrival, Clare could not have been more welcoming and friendly, she really helped us picture what an amazing day we could have at her venue. Nothing is too much trouble for Clare, we quickly felt very relaxed and excited about the prospect of holding our wedding there. The venue is simply stunning, beautifully kept gardens and marquee. Throughout the viewings and since booking the venue, we have felt very supported and that our wishes for our day are truly listened to and valued. We cannot wait to continue to work with Clare and the team at Hilltop in the build up to our wedding day. Personal touches are what it is all about. We love to see everything from bespoke cocktails to family 'Bake Off' pudding buffets to handmade decorations by the Bride and Groom.
