Hilltop Country House is a beautiful and unique venue, with a serene setting like no where else. Admits open fields and well-maintained gardens, abundant with flowers for all seasons, stands a 17th century house bursting with character, and a contemporary marquee idyllic for your wedding. Our wonderful team, including in-house wedding coordinator, chef and director of music, will work closely with you to ensure we translate your ideas into a seamless realization of your perfect day. The close relationship that we form with all our couples allows you to relax and enjoy the entire process - without having to think about a thing. We have four gorgeous ceremony options to suit all weddings. Whether within the billiard room, marquee, on the terrace or top lawn, all ceremony areas overlook the wonderful gardens and create the perfect setting to say your vows. Our marquee is fitted with glass bi-fold doors, bar and nightclub. Along with the outdoor bar with built in pizza oven and BBQ, Hilltop Country House has so much to offer for your special day. On-site we have four modern bedrooms, all en-suite with fabulous views. The bridal suite is not only the perfect space to spend your time after the best day of your lives, but ideal to enjoy the morning being pampered and prepped. Additionally, we also have a good number of rooms available at a newly built spa and hotel, just 5 minutes down the road from Hilltop Country House. All of this is exclusively yours!

Wow, well what can we say, there are just not enough words to describe the kind of day we had with you. Our wedding could not have been more perfect, such a big thank you to you ALL. Special thanks to Clare for all your patience, with our little things, that meant so much to us! To Iain for his amazing food, and pulling off our ultimate wedding meal, then doing it all again in the evening. Finally to Cameron for his ingenious cocktail designs that were absolute winners.

A wonderful day!

Myself and my wife were so delighted with our wedding day at Hilltop. Clare and her team were kind, welcoming and professional to a fault; we felt she genuinely cared about us as a couple, not just as customers. They were really accommodating of some of our more unusual (!) Requests; setting up a play area for the child guests, our sweet jar centre pieces for pick and mixing during the ceremony, our street food buffet and our ceiliadh band. The grounds were beautiful and all our guests enjoyed wondering through them and particularly the children being able to blow off energy! As a lesbian couple we felt respected and treated as an equal at all times, which was sadly not always our experience when touring other venues. They suited our relaxed, informal vibe very well and all guests were full of praise for the bar staff servers, delicious pizzas and wonderful spring pimms. Thank you!

A perfect day

Now we’re back to reality, we wanted to take the time to pass on our gratitude to you and all the team at Hilltop. From the moment Olivia showed us round, we knew that Hilltop was perfect for us - the garden room is simply stunning! Every member of the team that we’ve dealt with, has been nothing but friendly and polite. All of our ideas were met with enthusiasm and all the finishing touches and little suggestions along the way, helped form what really was a perfect day.

A perfect day!

From the first viewing to the wedding day itself, every person who was involved with us showed the upmost care and dedication to making our wedding day perfect. Nothing was too much to ask and they welcomed all of our ideas, offering suggestions as to how we could incorporate little touches throughout the day to reflect our personalities. The organisation of the day was seamless, the staff were attentive and the food was incredible. So many of our guests commented on how delicious it was! The cocktails also went down an absolute storm, with guests very impressed at the range and quality on offer. Even though we married in February, the grounds were beautifully maintained and formed a perfect backdrop from the Garden Room. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anymore and we’re so pleased that we chose Hilltop as the backdrop to our wedding day.
