York Barn at Villa Farm

We booked York Barn at Villa Farm immediately, as soon as we visited. It was the only venue we needed to visit for our wedding as it was so perfect! Our summer wedding was so magical at Villa Farm and ourselves and our guests has a wonderful stay in the surrounding cottages the night of and night before. The team behind the stunning venue can't do enough for their couples and we are genuinely sad to not be in regular contact now that our wedding is over as we really do consider them friends. Our wedding went without a hitch thanks to our coordinators Nicole and Corrina and the rest of the team! We truly had the best day and we had zero worries or concerns as everything was taken care of. The venue itself is beautiful. We were so lucky to have an outdoor ceremony in the grounds and our wedding breakfast inside was everything we hoped. They were really understanding when it came to our decorations and vision and we could not be more thankful! Thank you so much guys for giving us the best day of our lives so far! Rose&Rob

Could not speak more highly of York Barn! We had our wedding here on Saturday 8th July 2023. We met with Nicole for an initial viewing back in July 2021 and felt instantly looked after. She kept in touch with us regularly and her professional expertise really shone through. She helped us create a detailed timeline of our day and co-ordinated everything for us, we never had the opportunity to feel stressed! Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, she was absolutely fantastic. We had planned to get married outside but unpredictable weather meant a quick turn around to facilitate the ceremony inside. Corrina, Nicole and their team were absolutely fantastic - not only did they treat us with kindness and patience when trying to make a decision but the military precision in which the team can turn the room around is amazing. The team were so committed to making our day as special as possible. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about all the staff - we particularly enjoyed the bar staff dancing behind the bar! The staff didn’t feel like staff, it felt as though they were extra guests which was lovely! We also stayed in Blossom Cottage on-site which was excellent - the team even took our cards back to the cottage during the evening do and filled up the dishwasher while they were there! The day after we headed back to the barn to clear away our decorations only to find that they had done most of the work for us and all we had to do was load up the car. We would absolutely recommend York Barn to anyone. Such a lovely venue and team within it that doesn’t even have a hint of “corporate” about it. We will be forever grateful to everyone there who made the whole experience unforgettable - special shout out to Nicole who “never gets in the pictures” but totally deserves the recognition! We had our wedding at York Barn this summer and we simply could not have asked for a better venue and people! From the first day we met Nicole, we knew we wanted to get married there, not just because of the stunning location, but because the team are genuinely so friendly, down-to-earth and helpful. Unlike some venues, where absolutely everything is a costly extra, York Barn include so much and are so flexible. Everything about the weekend was perfect, and Nicole, Corrine and the team could not have done more to make it that way. The onsite accommodation was superb, and made our wedding feel like more of a weekend event than just a day. There's literally not a thing we would change, the saddest thing is that we now don't get to speak with them and meet up regularly, the whole process was made so easy and fun. We'll be going back for anniversaries and special occasions for years to come!

Where do we even start to begin to explain how great Villa Farm is? We got married here in April and hired 9 of the holiday cottages for the weekend for the guests. York Barn is an absolutely stunning venue for a wedding, due to weather we were married indoor but the fairy lights and wooden beams made it a perfect ceremony setting. The fantastic space outside provided amazing scenery for our photographs. Corrina, Nicole and the team at Villa Farm are simply fantastic. Very friendly, welcoming and will make sure your day goes perfectly. The holiday cottages are great, the hot tubs are a fantastic touch and especially great for relaxing with your nearest and dearest the night before your wedding. Dave and I got married at York Barn on Easter weekend 2023 and it was more than perfect. York Barn was the only wedding venue we viewed and as soon as we saw it we know it was the one for us. The venue itself is so well planned and thought-out, clean and super pretty. There are hooks everywhere to attach decorations, built in sound system and we loved the farmhouse tables available for use! We ideally wanted to get married outside so York Barn provided a beautiful option for us to do this, and we were lucky with the weather on the day allowing guests to be able to enjoy the outside and the terrace. We also loved that we could also choose our caterers which allowed us to personalise our wedding the way we wanted. One of the biggest benefits to the venue were the lovely holiday cottages on site. We wanted to make a weekend out of the wedding rather than it just being the day, and living in London with lots of friends travelling we knew this would be a huge bonus. We had over 80 friends and family staying on site on the Friday and Saturday nights, allowing us to plan activities for the Friday and wander round reminiscing on the Sunday. The cottages are very well equipment, lovely and clean and perfect for a weekend away with your friends – the hot tubs were well used! The icing on the cake for Villa Farm is the team. Nicole was our main contact running up to the wedding and she was incredible. She understood everything we wanted to do and was over every details of our day, we did not have to worry. She was also so quick to respond, provide her expert guidance and advice when needed and supported us with anything we wanted to do, even our confetti pony. Nothing was too much of an ask! The other team members on the day were also excellent. Corrina was there throughout with a smile on her face at all times making sure everything was perfect! Adam – well what can I say, he was there with his ladder when we needed, the golf buggy to bring us round, sorted everything out for Pepper (our confetti pony) and was there with a sweeping brush at the end of the night! Yrina made sure the drinks were flowing! We would recommend York Barn to anyone – it is the most perfect place and you will be looked after from start to finished.
