Your own Country House for a staycation... Howsham Hall, is the perfect venue for a one, two or even three night stay, including exclusive use. Howsham Hall has 12 sumptuous bedrooms, offering guests a stay within a chic retreat, marrying a perfect blend of stylish interiors with a backdrop of a period house.
Howsham Hall is a magnificent Grade I listed building and happens to have the most spectacular Bridal Suite, which is one of the largest in Europe!! This amazing suite features its own private sitting room with larger lounge area, ideal for the bridal morning preparations. The ceremony is the centerpiece of your wedding day! Our Great Hall, with its tasteful décor and chandelier lighting, is a truly romantic setting for the ceremony. Once the ‘I Do’s’ are done, it’s onto the celebrations! The Drinks Reception can be held outside in the gardens and grounds with the backdrop of the majestic building for photographs. Guests can also mingle and chat, making use of the light filled Staircase Hall.
No Celebration is complete without food and drink! Your guests will be blown away by The Drawing Room as your Wedding Breakfast setting, it is truly spectacular! As wedding packages don’t exist, your celebration is as individual as you as a couple. The food and drink you decide to have for your Wedding Day has been carefully curated by our team of award winning chefs.
When it is party time, Howsham Hall has its very own evening bar and dance floor wing! Guests can enjoy a cocktail with a view! Once your booking of Howsham Hall is confirmed, you'll be introduced to your Event Manager. Viewings are held by appointment and can be arranged at a time that suits you. The BEST day of our lives!!!!!!
Howsham Hall is an unbelievable venue. From the first time we drove down the drive way and saw it we were blown away! When we were shown around, we left knowing instantly it was the venue for us! All of the 13 rooms are amazing and unique, with every room having its own little touch. The bridal suite was a level above anything we had ever seen with everyone who stepped foot into the room immediately became mesmerised, and in awe of the greatness.
When we reserved our special day, we were introduced to Craig. Craig was always at hand for anything we needed, any question big or small Craig was always happy to help. On our wedding day, Craig and the rest of the Dine team were exceptional. We believe the day would not have went so smoothly if it wasn't for them. We cannot thank all of them enough!
The whole wedding went exactly how we imagined, with it going smoothly from when the bride and bridal party arrived the night before, and met Tim the house manager who went above and beyond to make sure everything perfect to when we all left the day after the wedding. Everyone from the day can not stop talking about the breath taking venue.
Thank you Craig, Tim, Killian and the rest of the Dine team for making our day so so special.

The level of service from yourself was exceptional and as my dad would put it ‘first class’. The attention to detail such as the champagne in our room and the gifts to us were so thoughtful and the timing of everything was great! I cannot express how amazing this venue is and how utterly perfect the Dine team are. From start to finish, everything is organised and executed to the utmost perfection.
Craig looked after us from the moment we booked all the way through to after our big day. He was fantastic. He directed everyone on the day itself and put our minds totally at ease.
