Wedding Day ❤

Wow! On the 28th December 2021 I married the love of my life at Wychwood Park. What an amazing day, every member of staff made our day so special. Thank you just isn't enough! Nothing was too much trouble. The staff worked so hard from dawn to dusk. The hotel itself is fantastic, having recently been refurbished. We stayed in the Weston Suite which was extra special. All our guests said what a lovely hotel it was, and how lovely all the staff were. So whether its business or pleasure, we highly recommend Wychwood Park

My son got married here and I have to say that it was a fantastic venue, for a few reasons: 1. The venue was incredible. 2. The food was beautiful, well cooked and well presented. 3. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would like to make special mention Minecraft member in particular. His name is Mark, he was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Being at Wychwood Park was definitely a pleasant experience never to be forgotten.

I would just like to thank Mark and Andy for Saturday! They did an amazing job making sure mine and my husbands wedding day went as smoothly as possible! They went above and beyond by sending the grooms mothers food to her house and video calling her for all important wedding events due to her isolating because of the pandemic! I cannot thank you enough!!! Thank you for a amazing day and making it memorable for all friend’s and family! The food was incredible & service was amazing!

Perfect venue for a perfect day. There guys stepped up when the bride was let down by her original venue.

These guys stepped up with less than 3 months to the wedding and they have been amazing. All set up and dealt with seamlessly. Special shout out to Elisha (sorry if I have spelt it wrong) and Andy! These pair stoped at nothing to make the bride and groom happy and made sure everything was catered for, including dashing to the rescue with a bottle of white wine when some idiot barged past me holding a glass of red wine which then landed on the brides dress! But we got it all out… seriously if you are looking for the perfect wedding venue! This is the place to go. Fantastic, thank you so much for everything from the very shockingly loud green and pink haired bridesmaid hahaha

Best wedding ever, fabulous venue!

We booked the Wychwood Hotel only 3 months before my daughter's wedding, as our original venue let us down. We are so glad that this change was forced upon us. From the minute we arrived the day before the wedding, until when we checked out the day after, nothing was too much trouble. Elishia was our wedding planner, and an awesome one at that. The venue was beautiful, the rooms plush and comfortable. In the afternoon/evening, we also had Andy, the new Events Supervisor looking after us. He was everywhere we needed him, checking in on me and my family, ensuring our complete happiness. Awesome venue, awesome staff, awesome wedding day. Exceptionally happy. Well done Elishia, Andy and all of the staff. 😍😍😍

Eleasha the wedding coordinator is an absolute joy to work with.

Due to Covid we had our date moved several times & each time we got in touch with Wychwood they were so accommodating. Not only are the grounds beautiful but the team there are absolutely fantastic & we had the best day. Eleasha the wedding coordinator is an absolute joy to work with. The food was amazing, the DJ was brilliant & all the bar staff & servers were absolutely wonderful & so much fun. Everything went perfectly & was definitely the best day of our lives. I'd recommend this place to anyone thinking about getting married.

Here at Wychwood Park every wedding is a special wedding to us. We feel honoured to be apart of each and every one of our previous couples day. Choosing the 'best', well that would just be impossible.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Take time to enjoy the day yourselves! The day does go by fast and remember it is YOUR day so why not take 5 minutes to enjoy each others company as newly weds. This could be over a glass of fizz on our bar balcony or take a step outside and enjoy the views.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Everyone loves a photo! One couple used polaroid photos for their table plan, not only was it very personal but it was a great laugh watching everyone's reaction seeing their photos up for everyone to see.

We always get complimented on our vast variety of menu options and to choose one canapé is a tough one! I would say one of our most popular options is the 'mini jacket potatoes with sour cream'.
