When we began our wedding venue search, our main criteria were: - good location for international guests - ceremony and reception at the same place, without the need to reset - no preferred supplier limitations - kitchen on site (no need to hire externally) - natural materials, like wood and brick, barn aesthetic - indoor space we'd be happy to stay in all day if bad weather - can support live music, with no in-built noise limiter - experienced & supportive team - budget considerations Westerham Golf Club delivered all of this and so much more. As soon as we visited the venue for the first time and spoke to the team we were confident we found our venue. We were assigned a contact person straight away who answered all of our questions by email and phone conversations and was always unbelievably helpful and quick to respond. In the lead up to the day we met our wedding day coordinators who we were reassured were very on the ball. We had a lot of personal details and touches throughout the day and never felt that we had to remind any of the team about them, they all understood the vision and knew all the intricate details of the day. They delivered them all without fault. The venue on the day looked absolutely stunning. The exposed brick and beams in the Valence Suite make this feel like a cozy but expansive barn conversion, but with the benefit of the adjoining rooms, wrap around balcony and excellent facilities of the golf club. The views are spectacular and the tree-lined drive up to the venue really sets a great tone. Throughout the day everything ran like clockwork, guests commented that the food was incredible, quickly served and all of our suppliers worked with ease with the staff and facilities. The flow of the space is fantastic, we had our ceremony in the Eleanor Suite, then did confetti outside before re-entering the main space where the drinks reception were laid out and musicians were performing. The bar area, sofas, dance floor and balcony were perfect for the canapes and drinks reception. We had photos on the grounds as well as in the lovely rose garden at the front of the venue. The dinner table set up was there from the morning and had a real wow factor when guests first saw it. While Eleanor Suite was empty the chairs were quickly cleared and this became a breakout space where we laid out board games and guests could relax if they didn't want to be dancing with the band. We got married in November and had a lot of evening guests, so having a space with plenty of room, without anyone needing to go outside (in case of cold/rain) was key and the venue was perfect in this regard. In the end we had a lovely clear day and guests enjoyed being on the balcony as well. I hope this review is helpful in helping other couples choose their venue. The lead up the wedding was great, Ella helped us with any little questions and made sure everything was sorted! The day before we met the on the day manager Brad who talked us through the whole day and made sure we were happy with everything. Also when we walked in one of our suppliers hadn’t done what they were meant to - and the venue got on the phone to them right away to come back and sort it meaning the stress was off me! The day came and it was a blur, but everything went smoothly, my guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue and how gorgeous it was. Every detail was perfect and the food was amazing! The wine choices were a big hit and I couldn’t be more complimentary of the staff. The only hiccup we had was when asking for a cup of tea for my Nan during the welcome drinks, and my brother was told they can’t do that by the bar, but my groom went up and it was sorted quickly. Thanks westerham for a memorable day - that we will cherish always ❤️

We had the most amazing wedding day at Westerham Golf Course, and given the chance would do the celebrations all over again at the same place. What a great day! And we had sunshine all day and sunset so we were able to go out on the golf buggy’s to.

Westerham is a beautiful venue. The backdrop of the luscious green golf course and the building itself is amazing. The rose garden is the perfect place for a drinks reception - even the drive into the venue is cool! Now to come onto the staff. Every single one of them couldn’t do enough for us. The communication at every step was faultless, and they are extremely helpful regardless of who you deal with! They are professional and can accommodate a whole variety of things, for example we asked for halal meat and they sourced it without any issue, no extra costs or anything. Their recommended suppliers are great, and they really make you feel at ease throughout the whole process and on the day. The food is also VERY good. All of our guests were complimentary of that, as well as the decoration and table layout which is rustic and picturesque. Having the licensed ceremony room in the same venue was perfect, as your guests can simply walk through the door into the wedding breakfast and evening reception room! The bar is well stocked, the wine selection was well received by our guests too. We really can’t recommend Westerham enough. A few of my friends who were there are now considering it for their wedding venue, it’s that good and I found beat all others on price too!

We made the best decision choosing Westerham Golf Club for our wedding venue. The staff went above and beyond, there are so many photo opportunities on the immaculately kept grounds, and the food was stunning! We had so many compliments from guests on what a fantastic venue we had chosen. The team made the whole wedding planning experience really straight forward, and were always in hand to answer any questions we had. Couldn’t recommend Westerham Golf Club enough!

Westerham golf club gave us the best day ever! All year leading up to the wedding we had great communication with staff particularly Ella who checked in and answered all of our questions. The week of the wedding we also met with manager Brad who ran through everything and a potential plan B in case it rained. The staff set up nearly everything for us including the table decor and ceremony room which helped us so much. They made the whole day run smoothly and when I was a bit concerned that we were running behind time (due to photos etc) we were reassured that it happens and we were doing fine. Wedding breakfast service was 10/10. It came out quickly and the food was amazing (as we already knew- but guests were saying it’s the best wedding food they’d had!). We managed to get our golf buggy photos done too with help from Phillipa. Staff checked in often and were great in the evening too. A couple of guests didn’t get the evening buffet in the evening but think they may have not looked until too late, so may have been good to know when it was ending. To be honest I was too busy and full after the breakfast to eat anyway but those who had it said it was nice! The venue was just perfect for us as we had the bar in the main area, the balcony for people to chat and smoke etc and take in that lovely view of the golf course, and even the ceremony room which we used for games/chill out/guestbook area which the kids loved. We didn’t actually look at other venues as when we came here we knew it was the place and it definitely turned out to be! Thank you WGC x

The team were simply brilliant and extremely supportive throughout the planning process. Massive shoutout to Gracie who was amazing to work with and extremely helpful with our various queries and need for advice over the course of a year. Brad and Philippa were also brilliant on the day in making sure everything went smoothly. The team are a well-oiled machine and the day flowed very well. The space itself was ideal and so many of our guests commented on the beautiful view from the modern ceremony room. The reception room was spot on with the bar next to the dancefloor (which stayed full!) and the terrace overlooking the course which we all enjoyed as it was a beautiful summer's day! Couldn't recommend it more!

We celebrated our wedding at Westerham Golf Club last week and we had an amazing day, a huge part of this was the venue and how smooth everything ran. A special thank you to Gracie who assisted us with all the prep and Bradley who helped us out on the day. We received many compliments from our guests praising the venue.

We are so glad that we chose WGC for our wedding. From the day we visit, to food tasting, meetings and the actual day everything went smoothly and exactly as we imagine. We had lovely Gracie as our event manager planning our wedding and Ryan & Philippa on the day making sure all was great. All staff were great and professional. We decided to trust WGC suppliers recommendations and it was the best decision we made. Save us time and stress and everything was magical.

I couldn’t recommend Westerham golf club enough. From the moment we drove up to view it we knew it was special. The location and views were absolutely amazing. Every single member of staff we dealt with were so attentive, professional and just lovely. They couldn’t do enough for us throughout the whole process. Gracie was our events manager, she was so lovely and answered every single question I asked so quickly, you could tell she genuinely cared and wanted our day to be special, she took all the worry away from us as we knew our day was in safe hands. We then got handed over to Jake who was with us on the day and coordinated everything on the day. Couldn’t have asked for better than Jake he is a true professional, he even managed to stop my nephew from crying before walking down the aisle. The staff on the day we’re all super helpful, there’s constant moving and arranging on the day and they did this seamlessly. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. I just couldn’t find any faults whatsoever.
