Shottle Hall is an elegant Derbyshire Country House nestled on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Set in beautiful grounds with stunning views over the Ecclesbourne Valley. Whether you want a small intimate celebration or a more lavish affair we can cater from 30 to 90 guests for a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast. And up to 150 guests for your evening reception in our Orangery Restaurant. Our brand new Barn will be completed for Summer 2025 and will make the most of the beautiful uninterrupted views over the open countryside. This new addition to the Shottle Hall Estate combines the traditional stone built coach house with a state of the art modern Barn and we can't wait to share this new exciting venue with you. The Barn can cater for larger wedding parties of between 70-150 guests for your wedding breakfast and then up to 250 guests for your evening reception.

Our venue hire prices include exclusive use of the Shottle Hall Estate including all 8 bedrooms for the night of the Wedding. All staff, banqueting furniture, table linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, cake stand with knife is also included in the venue hire price. You will be allocated a dedicated wedding coordinator who will help with the planning of your day and act as master of ceremonies for you (Please note all our prices include VAT, we are very transparent with our prices here at Shottle Hall so no nasty surprises!)

All our menus are individually priced allowing you to create your own wedding breakfast to suit both taste and budgets. 3 course menus are from £42.00 per head with the option to add on Canapes, a sorbet course, tea & coffee & cheese & biscuits. Our Evening food ranges from Bacon rolls, traditional finger buffets, hog roast, BBQ's to our around the world street style food options. Prices start from £10.95 per head. Note, all dietary requirements can be catered for. Drinks packages range from the classic options for £20 per person or just offer individual drinks or pre paid bar tabs. Our perfect day

We had our wedding here on Saturday 14th September. We had the best day we could have wished for and a huge thank you must go to Holly and the wedding team at this venue! They did an amazing job and nothing was too much trouble. All of our guests commented on the amazing food that was served for the wedding breakfast and how beautiful the setting was. If we could do it all over agin, we would pick Shottle again!

The most special day

The house and gardens are beautiful, the staff were amazing! Our wedding coordinator Holly, from the get go she was amazing at communicating with us, sorting any queries. I was quite stressed up until our meeting where Holly calmed all my anxieties and put me at ease, and on the day she made sure it all went smoothly! The food was gorgeous and we had compliments from everyone on the venue & the food. Every detail was thought of and we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

We had such a magical wedding day

We had such a magical wedding day in Shottle Hall. The venue itself is perfect with spacious, elegant halls, perfectly manicured lawns, chandeliers hanging at every room, and numerous photo opportunities at every corner. Holly, our coordinator, is exceptional at what she does - she worked so hard to make this day truly amazing for us. We had a perfect day

Thank you to Holly and all of the Shottle Hall staff for their impeccable organisation and attentiveness. The Lounge was absolutely perfect for our ceremony. The Orangery was stunning and that starlit ceiling was so magical for our first dance and the evening party. We felt extremely looked after through our wedding journey, and we were able to really relax and enjoy the day. We had a perfect day, we keep reliving everything, and are still on cloud 9.

I will never forget this place

This was my venue from the minute I turned on the drive. Its just stunning. We managed to have great weather so married outside, the kids spent hours playing hide and seek in the gardens and football in the field. Every guest said how beautiful it was. The staff are all incredible, nothing was too much trouble, the food was 100% I will never forget this place or the team that helped put my dream wedding together. I'm just sad I only get to do it once.

It was truly magical
