One of the best things about hosting your wedding at Knockerdown is the flexibility we provide as a DIY Wedding Venue. You're free to design your day exactly how you want it. Whether it's your favourite private chefs or street food trucks, or relaxed dining the choice is yours. You can personalise your entertainment - from photo booths and casino tables to DJ's or live bands.
- 16 charming self catering holiday cottages sleeping up to 93 wedding guests
- Private use of superb onsite facilities including indoor heated swimming pool, social lounge with games room, outdoor children's play area and large meadow area with dog run and more
- Exclusive use of our spacious 100-person event space, great for the ceremony and reception
- Full support and assistance throughout your booking with our events team to assist your wedding planning, including a wedding planning tool from Hostology
- Our events team set up of the ceremony room, wedding breakfast room, and evening reception room, personalising each turn around with all you chosen decorations and plans as required

Venue hire starts from £11,950 in winter, £13,950 in spring, and £19,500 in peak season, and includes on-site cottage accommodation for up to 93 guests – giving your family and friends a truly memorable wedding retreat.
Enjoy the freedom to create a wedding that feels completely you. Choose from our recommended suppliers or bring your own, and with no corkage fee, you’re welcome to supply your favourite drinks for the evening reception.
Many couples significantly reduce their costs by asking guests to contribute towards accommodation. For example, on a £19,500 peak-season weekend, guest contributions of £13,950 equate to just £150 per person for a 3-night stay, meaning your entire weekend wedding could cost as little as £5,550.

There have been so many, but one of my favourites is when couples involve their family and friends in the day. Whether it's a relative baking the cake, a friend playing live music during the ceremony, or handwritten touches throughout the venue, those personal details make a wedding feel truly unique and create memories that last a lifetime.

There are so many beautiful spots around Knockerdown Wedding Village, from our charming stone buildings and gardens to the picturesque Derbyshire countryside. Every season offers something different, making it easy to capture stunning photos throughout your day.

What’s your favourite canapé?
It's impossible to pick just one, but you can't beat a great mini Yorkshire pudding with roast beef and horseradish. It's always a crowd-pleaser and a perfect nod to a classic British favourite!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
There’s nothing better than something comforting and fun after a long day of celebrations. A classic favourite is bacon butties or freshly made chips served hot at the end of the night – always a huge hit with guests!

Our most unique feature is the flexibility we offer. Knockerdown Wedding Village is a true DIY venue, which means couples have complete freedom to choose their own suppliers and shape every part of their day. It allows each wedding to feel completely personal and unlike any other.
