The Rosevine provides the perfect blank canvas for your wedding. Whether a small gathering or exclusive use (September to June), we’ll work closely with you to create a bespoke day like no other. The house is licensed for civil ceremonies, you can get married overlooking the sea and there's the very beautiful water-side church of St Just in Roseland just up the road.
Your wedding can be as intimate or elaborate as you choose. Host your ceremony and wedding breakfast for up to 40 both with stunning sea views out across the bay. If you're wanting a bigger wedding party, why not opt for a tipi or marquee that can be set up on our lawn which can cater up to 120.
From a pre-wedding barbeque on the lawn the night before to the wedding breakfast and everything in between, our talented House Chefs will create a menu tailored to your requirements.
The House can accommodate guests in 16 suites, apartments and sea view studios, all with mini-kitchens and cosy sitting/dining areas. Truly family friendly, children can enjoy a large garden, heated indoor pool and their own play room. Children’s food and babysitters can be arranged.
We're hidden away on the unspoilt and very romantic Roseland Peninsula, looking out towards the tiny fishing village of Portscatho and just a short stroll from Porthcurnick Beach, perfect for beach shots!

Describe the best wedding that happened at The Rosevine Hotel?
It's hard to describe just one wedding - we're so lucky to count so many beautiful weddings as part of the Rosevine year. It's lovely to see the house taken over and used as it should be; welcoming families and children enjoying the freedom to roam the house and grounds, the couples decorating the house with personal touches like family photos on the dressers, and having everyone at the house for the entire weekend. Beach games and a barbecue or a trip to the local pub on the night before, the excitement building whilst getting ready with breakfast boxes delivered to the apartments on the morning of the wedding, seeing the team decorate, beauticians and hairdressers, arriving, the scent of fresh flowers, photographers snapping away and seeing the months of preparation coming together when the wedding takes place either at the house or at the local church, then the party commences! Sundays are for full Cornish breakfasts and a swim in the pool (or in the sea!) to clear heads before fond farewells.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Use a colour coded master plan behind the scenes to help you keep track of your guests’ requirements – working with your venue to let them know not only where everyone is sitting but whether they have special dietary requirements or child's portions. Pretty table plans are for front of house only – this is military!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One idea we’ve liked is Polaroid style place cards. The slightly washed out polaroid look is very retro – very now. And it's a very personal way of recognising your family and friends - seeing them take their seats and their reactions to the photos is always great fun!
