Be as hands-on or hands-off as you like; we’ll give you the flexibility to put as much of ‘you’ into your day as you want. No pre-packaged weddings here! Bonfires, dancing under the stars, fireworks, cider from down the road, hay bales, bunting and festoon lighting strung between trees, gourmet dinners, home-cooked hearty food – if you need a venue that’s happy to let your imagination run wild, then come and see what we’re all about! Gather everyone around the altar: our wooden Chy Hos (Duck House). Set on the hillside, in what was the old duck pond, long time dried, this newly landscaped area is surrounded by trees and old Cornish dry stone walls. Choose a theme for your wedding: play games, have a treasure hunt, walk in the woods or even jump in the pool. With your direction, we’ll help your band or DJ get set up, so you can throw a party to remember. With 32 acres of space at your disposal, you can really go to town on your wedding entertainment. Your wedding feast is a big part of what makes your celebration unique, so we don’t have contracted caterers you must use. Choose who or whatever you want, from a hog roast to fine dining. We can also supply a bar. And if you’re not sure who to go with, we’re happy to recommend some tried and tested local businesses. The main farmhouse, our stunning contemporary cottages and other indoor and outdoor areas are also licensed, and are ideal for intimate wedding parties of up to 40 people.
