The most magical day at Trevenna

The moment we came to view Trevenna we knew it was perfect for our wedding day. It was only the second venue we saw in Cornwall and although it was off the beaten track we were smitten as soon as we saw it. It’s the perfect blend of a rustic, relaxed barn venue with top class, luxury accommodation. It was really important to us with guests travelling abroad for our wedding to give them comfortable and spacious accommodation. We are both foodies so placed a big emphasis on the quality of the food and loved the fact that Trevenna is also a working farm that grows its own fresh produce that they use in their dishes. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our wedding was perfect, from the beautifully decorated ceremony space to the delicious farm-to-table cuisine served throughout the two days we stayed. The accommodation was presented to such a high standard of luxury, providing a comfortable and picturesque retreat for us and our guests. Waking up to the peaceful countryside views was a dream come true. The team at Trevenna truly made our wedding day unforgettable, and we couldn't recommend this venue highly enough to anyone looking for a magical and romantic setting for their special day. Thank you for making our wedding dreams a reality. I wanted to send across a huge thank you to all of the team at Trevenna who did such an amazing job in the lead up and on our big day and helping us plan what really was spectacular. An incredible venue & team that made our big day perfect!

We are over the moon that we chose Trevenna for our wedding celebrations. From start to finish the team were so friendly and helpful which took really took the stress out of planning - I had no doubts whatsoever that our big day was in safe hands! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and our guests all commented on how beautiful it was. It didn't matter that it rained all day as the spaces are filled with natural light and big enough to not feel crowded. We were also lucky enough to benefit from using the gorgeous new Mowhay building for our welcome dinner the night before the wedding and for breakfasts on both mornings. The barns are also so lovely and we wish we could have stayed there for a week! As for the food - it is divine! My husband and I are big foodies, and we were so impressed by the quality and flavours of the dishes, from freshly baked foccacia to slow-cooked meats in the wood-fired oven and warm, fudgy brownies. Mark from Trevenna Bakery made our cake and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! So delicious and beautiful. Special shoutout to Matthew who was fantastic in coordinating our celebrations, bringing a calm and can-do attitude over the 2 days, as well as a great sense of humour! Daniel was also incredible in the lead up to the day, quickly answering any questions and offering helpful advice to my many questions. I was completely clueless about wedding planning but the whole team made it a breeze throughout! We will definitely visit again soon for special meals and I'd highly recommend Trevenna to anybody getting married!

Beautiful March Wedding

We had our wedding at Trevenna in March this year. We cannot thank them enough for all their hard work throughout the weekend. We had the most perfect day which couldn't have happened without everyone involved. Thier calm attentiveness and pure kindness was perfectly placed, answering our questions before we had even asked them and all of our guests commented on how well everything was run. A shout out to the chef team, the food was beautiful from start to finish. And a very special thank you to Jordan our event co ordinator, who showed us round on our first visit to Trevenna so it was really special for him to be there throughout the weekend. He made us feel at ease and took the pressure off with his lovely, chilled out manner. The venue is set in a beautiful location in the spectacular Cornish countryside. All our guests commented on how great the setting was. The rooms are homely and comfortable and the event spaces are multi functional. We loved how flexible the venue is, we were able to choose where/when parts of the day occurred right up to the last minute. Wedding February

We had our wedding at Trevenna on the weekend of February 24th. Everything was perfect. We couldn't have stayed at a better venue. We travelled from Spain so we could have the wedding with my English family. Everyone was very accommodating and attentive. Nothing was too much to ask from the team and everyone was super friendly. They all really helped the day go amazing and helped us to feel special. I would recommend this venue to others. And we will definitely be returning in the future.

The best day of our lives!

We had a beautiful two day February wedding at Trevenna and everything from start to finish was just perfection. The venue itself is beautiful. We were so lucky to have glorious sunshine on our wedding day that showed off the amazing countryside views, but the venue is so beautiful I think it wouldn’t have mattered either way. We were made to feel so special - the staff were incredibly accommodating and our guests haven’t stopped talking about how hands on they were. Not to mention, how amazing the food was. Nothing was too much of a task at Trevenna; at one point Jordan even drilled a hole in the wood of the bathroom to hang my veil from because I stupidly forgot to bring a steamer. They think of the little things and really listen to what you want to make it the most perfect day for you. There aren’t enough words to describe how special Trevenna made our wedding day and we are truly so grateful. The views, the staff, the food, the venue - it was all amazing and I would recommend it in a heartbeat!

The most perfect wedding venue

We had our wedding here at Trevenna late December 2023 and we can honestly say it was perfect. From the first time we viewed Trevenna, we knew this was the dream venue for our wedding. Communication and helpfulness from Daniel & Sarah was amazing throughout, nothing was too much of an ask - an example being us going away from the standard menu for our meals. The barns in which us and the guests stayed were very clean and maintained to a high standard. The entire venue was decorated for Christmas and each individual barn had its own Christmas tree! The food across the 3 days was excellent, great size portions and very high quality - so many of our guests have said it was the best wedding food they have had! The wedding day itself ran so smoothly and that was all down to Sarah and her team being so attentive and professional. We cannot recommend Trevenna enough if you are thinking of getting married here.

Trevenna is set within rural Cornwall on the Southern slopes of Bodmin Moor, less than 3 miles from the main A38, 4 miles from the A30 and 10 minutes from Bodmin Park railway station, making it easily accessible.
