This secluded wedding village is nestled in the heart of Cornwall and is exclusively yours for your wedding. Enjoy a stay of up to three days with your friends and family. Located in a valley on the edge of Bodmin Moor, the surroundings are stunning with 360 degree views. With its accommodation and event spaces, this former dairy farm was converted with weddings in mind. There is a farmhouse, five cottages and five further hotel-style rooms. Our accommodation is rated 5 star and up to 40 of your loved ones can stay. Local overflow accommodation is available for additional guests.
Every part of your wedding can be accommodated in bespoke indoor spaces which means that the venue is perfect at every time of year. There are no clumsy turnarounds and you don't have to worry about the weather.
We're wedding experts and support you every step of the way. We look after the logistics, allowing you to focus on the things that matter to you.
You're spoilt for choice when it comes to your ceremony with four places to say I do: The Oak Arbour, The Lake Arbour, The Wedding Barn or The Really Rustic Barn. Our Red Brick Barn is perfect for your meal and evening reception with its wall of glass that opens up onto the terrace, lawns and those views. The Green Room is the hub of the venue and you will all gather there for your welcome dinner and breakfasts.
There are endless photo opportunities here with woods, a lake, an orchard and a meadow. Did we mention those views? The barns themselves are in a cluster which works perfectly. It's hard to believe that this place wasn't built with weddings in mind.
Our caring and dedicated team will look after you every step of the way from the first phone call to the moment when you leave as a married couple. We are experienced in planning weddings but we love a challenge, so bring us your ideas, we'd love to help you make them happen. All of your meals are included and prepared with care in our kitchens using local produce.

From two-person elopements to large full-day wedding parties, the venue is perfect for both and everything in between. The accommodation for the couple and the guests is modern and comfortable, and The Preen at The Green is a perfect space for the Bride and Bridesmaids to start the day with hair and make-up. With everything on-site, there is no rushing between venues; it's all here in this idyllic rural wedding venue. Whether you choose the wedding barn, with its romantic festoon lights twinkling, the outdoor arbour with the accompanying birdsong, or the rustic barn, your ceremony will impress your guests and give you timeless, beautiful photographs. The surrounding grounds, woodland walk, viewpoint, and lake all provide stunning backdrops for natural wedding photos, with abundant natural beauty lending a relaxed feel to your big day. The Red Brick Barn is a spacious, light room, perfect for your wedding meal and speeches, and it helps me, as a photographer, capture lots of natural, fun photos of your guests enjoying the day. All of our guests loved the accommodation, the wedding barn is beautiful for the ceremony and the red brick barn is perfect for the reception! Erin was amazing. She took care of the little things so we could just enjoy the whole day. The staff are all so lovely and made the day run so smoothly. The food was fantastic across the two days. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
On 29th March 2014 we hosted the first same sex wedding in Cornwall. This is a wedding we will never forget.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Maximise the time you have with your guests. It really does go by in a flash. Get everyone together for a few days rather that a few hours and everything will be so much more relaxed.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A bride once had her groom's classic car secretly restored and presented it to him during the "first look" That was pretty special.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There really are too many to choose from but if we had to pick just one then we would say in the woods.... the light there is perfect throughout the year
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We've had a few but we would never gossip!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Mini scones jam and cream. Done the Cornish way of course.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Its just got to be pasties. Who doesn't love a portable snack of the dance floor. Pasties were practically designed for this.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
It's a happy accident actually, but we have the most wonderful layout, a cluster of barns set on the edge of a valley. Everything is close together but at the same time you never feel overlooked. Those old farmers knew the land and where to build their barns.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
All of it! We're really proud of all the facilities we provide and that we have weatherproofed the venue making it perfect year-round.
