- BBeth and Ryan18/09/2026The perfect wedding venueThe perfect wedding venueWe booked our wedding for 2020 but then Covid had other ideas! The venue could not have possibly done more for us than they did, easing every worry and bending over backwards to get us a new date, welcoming us in with open arms for afternoon tea on what would have been our wedding day. On our actual wedding day a year later everything went perfectly. Things ran exactly on time, and we had so many guests saying what a stunning venue it was. So many things that were just little extras or things that would be more expensive at another venue were just standard here like getting an entrance drink of our choice as bride and groom, or having a separate room for day do and night do. Genuinely couldn’t have wished for more from the midland, they were amazing We booked our wedding for 2020 but then Covid had other ideas! Our wedding co ordinator was super helpful and answered every question no matter how obvious the answer. The packages are priced amazingly and the hotel is so beautiful. You wouldn’t think from the outside how grand it is inside. If we were to ever get married again we’d definitely pick here. The whole day was amazing and don’t even get me started on the food, absolutely yummy. And the evening buffet was perfect. From the start of booking with the midland hotel everything was perfect. They bent over backwards to ensure everything was perfect. 4th time lucky after cancellations due to the pandemic. Our wedding co-ordinator became like a friend, she was so kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend the Midland for your wedding. The food and atmosphere was amazing and the DJ catered to our specific needs (Metal and rock) amazing!!!Our wedding was faultless! The hotel staff made us so welcome and attended to all our needs. They bent over backwards to ensure everything was perfect. 4th time lucky after cancellations due to the pandemic. Sharon settled my nerves and pulled together the most beautiful wedding we could have imagined. Nothing was too much. The hotel is stunning, staff are friendly and welcoming and always on hand if you need anything.Well what can I say, I have no words to describe how thankful I am to Sharon and her team. The events planners are the loveliest of ladies and nothing was too much in helping us get to the wedding day with everything in order as we wanted. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Being part of of Dale & Shays beautiful wedding was an absolute privilege from start to finish. From the very first meeting, our goal was to create a day that truly reflected the couple's vision, ensuring every detail was carefully planned and every supplier worked seamlessly together. The day began in our elegant French Ballroom for a heartfelt ceremony, followed by a stunning wedding breakfast before guests moved into the magnificent Princes Ballroom for an unforgettable evening reception. Behind the scenes, our dedicated team coordinated timings, managed suppliers, and ensured every transition happened effortlessly, allowing the couple to simply enjoy every moment. Seeing guests compliment the exceptional food, handcrafted cocktails, and the beautiful surroundings made all the hard work worthwhile. Most importantly, knowing the couple felt relaxed, valued, and completely looked after is exactly what we strive for with every wedding we host.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't leave the timeline until the last minute.
As a wedding coordinator, the biggest difference between a stressful day and a seamless one is having a well-planned schedule. Plan your ceremony, photographs, meal service and evening reception early, and allow a little extra time between each part of the day. It gives you the chance to relax, enjoy every moment, and lets your wedding team take care of the rest.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of my favourite personal touches is when couples include handwritten letters to one another, which are delivered on the morning of the wedding.
As a wedding coordinator, it's such a special moment to witness. Before the celebrations begin, the couple gets a quiet opportunity to read their partner's words, creating a memory that's incredibly personal and often becomes one of the most treasured parts of the day. It's simple, meaningful, and completely unique to them.

Without a doubt, our grand staircase. It's the most elegant feature of the Midland Hotel Bradford and creates a breathtaking backdrop for those unforgettable wedding photographs. Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We haven't had a celebrity wedding, but we have had celebrity guests including Laurel & Hardy, the full Bollywood Film cast & crew for film coming August 2018, Coleen Nolan, the cast and crew of Peaky Blinders- as seen in Series 4 Episode 1!

Our most unique feature has to be the extraordinary chandelier in our Princes Ballroom. With its stunning design and impressive presence, it adds an elegant and unforgettable touch to every wedding and special event, creating a truly beautiful centrepiece for the room.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
As a Wedding Coordinator, I'm most proud of the experience we create for our couples. From the first enquiry to the last dance, we build genuine relationships and make every couple feel supported, valued and completely at ease. Seeing months of planning come together and knowing we've helped create memories that last a lifetime is the most rewarding part of what we do.
