We provide a variety of straight talking packages that make organising your wedding a dream. We can personalise each one to suit your exact needs or create a bespoke wedding tailored entirely for you! From a small intimate gathering in our Netherwood Suite, to a large wedding with all your friends and family, we can provide you with a truly memorable day.
Your Forever After starts here at The Fleece Countryside Inn
Our Grade-II listed Stone Barn with oak floors; timber beams and natural acoustics offer the perfect setting for saying ‘I DO’. We are licensed for civil ceremonies, partnerships, blessings and renewals of vows within the exclusive use of our function room, private bar and outside terrace. Our summer package includes your ceremony here with us at The Fleece! So all you have to do is book your ceremony time with Calderdale Council. We can hold your ceremony here at The Fleece for up to 110 guests!
Looking for a more traditional ceremony? No problem, there are 3 different parish churches only a few miles away in Ripponden. We will be here ready to greet you and your guests with Prosecco and mouth watering Canapés.

Our Executive Chef with over 30 years of experience working in Rosette and Michelin standard kitchens across the UK and Europe has lovingly designed and prepared all our wedding menus. From our warming roasts in the Winter months to our mouth watering dishes in Summer, each menu is specifically designed to cater for your wedding season.

Our perfect wedding day, thank you
We fell in love with the facilities at The Fleece from the very first time that we visited, just short of two years before our wedding in July 2023.
Carrie-Anne and the entire staff at The Fleece were absolutely brilliant throughout. They came to our rescue on more than one occasion when other plans went awry, ensuring our special day was indeed extremely special.
If your looking for a venue that has wonderful views, a relaxed atmosphere combined with unbelievably professional service and fabulous food, then we cannot recommend The Fleece enough.
Extremely special memories were made, not just for us, but for all our guests who said it was the best wedding they’d been to.

We had the most perfect wedding day at The Fleece Countryside Inn. A huge thank you to everyone at The Fleece for bringing our wedding day dream to life. We chose the venue as it has a lovely homely, country and relaxed vibe, it’s not pretentious or over the top, yet still a perfectly stunning venue with incredible surrounding views. Carrie-Anne, was absolutely amazing from our first meeting, right up until the day, as were the other coordinators on the day. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Our special day was truly amazing
The Fleece was the perfect wedding venue. The picturesque views surrounding The Fleece set the back drop for many special photos. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were on hand to ensure every little detail was perfect and that the day ran smoothly. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Carrie-Anne and the events team for making everything come together. The food was amazing and the canapés were delicious! The rooms were incredibly cozy and our guests enjoyed staying in them.

We had the best day ever
We got married here the end of April and what a stunning and beautiful venue it is! We had the most amazing day and I wish I could just go back and re live it all again. They looked after us so well on the day and did a fantastic job! All our guest were so happy they all commented on how amazing the staff, venue, cocktails and food were. They also make the best cocktails ever.

Everything we could have wished for!
Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The Fleece was everything we could have wished for in a Venue! The staff were so accommodating and we were allowed to style the gorgeous cosy venue exactly how we wanted! We were able to capture the most amazing photos with stunning views and the sun setting in the evening.
All the guests were so impressed with the food and and reasonable pricing of drinks. We had a wedding that didn’t break the bank, but will certainly be a hard one to beat!!

What a Good Friday, Good Friday 2023 was!
Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The Fleece was everything we could have wished for in a Venue! We have had the privilege to host the most amazing and kind couples but the one's that stick out the most are weddings with games! Such as cocktail hour competitions, or the bring me up game! Always great entertainment for the guests and Fleece staff alike!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Get a wedding planner book! There are some amazing ones on the market with tips, timelines and every list you could possibly need! They are ideal for the less organised bride to help make the process easier, plus oh so satisfying for the highly organised Bride that loves a good expense sheet!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We absolutely loved Summer and Ashley's Table names, they were places they had been together displayed with a picture of them in location! Then people had to find their seat by looking at a map of the world!
