Truly amazing celebration
We were married at The Harbour Chapel last weekend and we could not have been happier with how it went. Fiona and Holly were amazing at keeping us organised and making sure everything looked fantastic and went smoothly. Our guests loved the venue and all felt well cared for when they were there. They worked with all our other vendors to give us a truly amazing celebration. We cannot thank them enough and would highly recommend a celebration there.

The venue was just perfect.
Our many thanks to Fiona and Holly for helping to make our wedding day special. They were such an incredible help throughout the planning stages, and made certain that everything went smoothly on the day. I can't recommend enough. They'll be with you every step of the way. The venue was just perfect. We had looked at a number of locations, but when we visited Dunbar, I think we knew immediately that it was the place. The town centre is gorgeous and easily accessible. The venue is steps from the harbour with incredible views of the sea and the Forth. Dunbar also has plenty of traditional and modern accommodations for guests, and is close enough to Edinburgh for those wishing to stay in the capital. The Chapel itself is absolutely stunning. Every one of our guests remarked on the beauty of the venue, and even we wondered how we had managed to find such a place. The chapel is elegantly designed, preserving many historic elements including the vibrant stained glass windows. Everyone looked amazing against the chapel's rich blues and golds. There was more than enough room for our 30 some guests while remaining a warm and vibrant space. The transitions between ceremony, reception, dinner, and dance were absolutely seamless. With the unpredictable coastal weather, not having to usher our guests between different venues on the day was definitely a plus. Between the bar and the main event space the guests remained plenty entertained in one convenient location. The Harbour Chapel helped us to liaise with their catering partners at the Good Table and the guests have been talking about the food ever since. The Harbour Chapel also has a fine bar with an excellent whisky selection. They were incredibly accommodating in making sure we had everything we might want. In particular, Ewan's knowledge and love of whisky shone through and made for an incredible experience for our guests. We couldn't be more satisfied with the incredible experience that the Harbour Chapel staff helped us to pull off and would enthusiastically recommend to all. Our sincerest thanks to The Harbour Chapel team for their professionalism, warmth, and hospitality.

Fine food and drink
The atmosphere is set from the moment you step through the door. The welcome, place setting all the way through to the fine food and drink selection is all a reflection of the attention to detail by Fiona and her team. If you want a venue where that caters to your every need the look no further than the Harbour Chapel.

So unique!
I cannot believe I am writing a review post wedding! It feels like only a few days ago that we met Fiona at the Harbour Chapel and decided that this was where we wanted to have our special day. My husband is from Dunbar and I am from Inverness, and like tradition would dictate, as the bride our original plans for our wedding were to get married in my hometown. However, out of curiosity my (now) husband and I went to visit the Harbour Chapel on one of its open days. The decor and the atmosphere was so unique. The care to keep historical elements of the building prominent in the decor as well as the addition of tasteful modern finishings throughout the building created such a welcoming and tranquil ambience. And the stained glass windows were just absolutely stunning, so much so in fact, that the colours inspired the 5 different colours of my bridesmaids dresses! But it wasn't until I met Fiona that I knew for certain that this was the place for us. Fiona was so welcoming and reassuring and instantly made me feel at ease. As a Primary school teacher whose life is planning and organising on a daily basis I can sometimes go into overdrive when it comes to planning other aspects of my life! I was instantly drawn to the Harbour Chapel wedding package offers as it not only made the planning much more simple to navigate, it also meant that Fiona and her team were there to support my husband and I the entire time, and in turn took so much of the weight of planning and stress off my shoulders. Something we are both extremely grateful for! We chose The Good Food Table catering company, Dionne from Morris Jones photography and Pixie Rose florisists, all local companies to Dunbar who offered package deals with the Harbour Chapel. The communication between all parties ensured that our wedding day ran smoothly with the food, flowers and photos all perfect! I cannot recommend the Harbour Chapel highly enough, the venue, the staff and the location itself allowed for us to have a truly fantastic wedding day that all of our guests have been raving about since. Thank you again to everyone who made our wedding the truly special day it was. Kit and Sam

More than perfect!
John and I had our wedding at The Harbour Chapel on April 23rd. We had originally booked to wed in New York but covid put a stop to that and we are so glad it did, as our day at The Harbour Chapel was more than perfect! Fiona, Euan, Holly and all the staff are outstanding! They made our day run so smoothly that we are still getting comments from friends and family on how amazing the venue is and how incredible the staff were, no one waited long to be served at the bar and how fun the staff are. Fiona and Holly took care of so much that we really got to enjoy the build up as much as the day, they organised our flowers, taxis, you just asked and they were on the case! Its now 1 month since our wedding and I miss them and while I write this review I feel I haven't praised them enough! We will definitely be back to have a party again, we just need to find an excuse! Thank you all so much. Davina and John French
