The Neo-Classical Mansion and 50 acres of landscaped Gardens date back to the 18th century. All reflect the opulence, wealth and taste of the Egerton family who owned the Tatton estate until 1958. Their style is still in evidence today and helps create the unique setting that Tatton Park offers any wedding or celebration.
For over 20 years Tatton Park has provided the perfect venue for a variety of celebrations. A choice of function suites and dedicated staff ensure each function is uniquely designed for every occasion. From an intimate dinner for a few to a sumptuous reception for 350 guests, Tatton Park is firmly established as one of the North West’s leading venues.

Lord Edgerton Apartment – Upstairs space that overlooks the Italian Terrace, primary used as a Bridal Prep area or small religious ceremony room, or banqueting space for maximum 40 guests.
Entrance Hall - One of the Mansion state rooms which holds up to 80 people for a Ceremony only
Sitting Room – located upstairs across the corridor from the Lord Edgerton Apartment, primarily used as a changing room
Tenants Hall – Main event room – maximum of 350 guests banquet style seating
Tenants Hall Foyer – wet weather drinks area, and toilet facilities location

There were also issues with communication between Tatton Park and the recommended caterers. Having chosen to work with suppliers recommended through the venue, we expected there to be clear communication and coordination between everyone involved. Unfortunately, this did not always seem to be the case, which contributed to confusion and delays on the day. Some of the more personal elements of our ceremony were also affected. Our entrance and vows did not take place as we had planned, and music was not played at the intended moments during the evening. While their food quality was excellent, their service struggled under the pressure of multiple parallel events. It was clear that our wedding was not their priority that evening, and the service reflected that. Holly, my wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing, and I can’t recommend her enough. She was always available whenever I needed anything and made the entire planning process feel so much less stressful. Charlene was also wonderful to work with and was incredibly flexible when I mentioned that I wanted to hold my Nikkah in the greenhouse. We chose My Lahore for our catering and Elegant Events Management for our décor, and both did a fantastic job. Our guests absolutely loved the venue, and our photos turned out beautifully.
