Shotton Grange was the dream venue for us, couldn't imagine anywhere more perfect! Thank you to the whole team from the initial meeting and looking around for the first time through to our amazing wedding day!! Words cannot describe how amazing our day was. We are so glad we found Shotton Grange, it's the most beautiful, perfect venue. So glad we could get married outside. It looked beautiful. We have had so many compliments from guests about the venue/outdoor areas as well as how good the food was both day and night. Loved the garden games which kept both kids and adults entertained. Particular thanks to our masters of ceremonies who was absolutely fantastic; so lovely as well as a true professional and kept the day on track and true to what wanted. The whole day and night was perfect and we felt so happy. We can't thank the team enough.Shotton Grange was the dream venue for us, couldn't imagine anywhere more perfect! Where do we even begin? From the moment we booked, the team made us feel completely looked after. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds that made the perfect backdrop for our day. In the lead-up to the wedding, I must have sent what felt like a never-ending stream of questions, requests, and “just one more thing” emails, but nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff couldn’t have been more patient, reassuring, or helpful. They kept me calm when the wedding nerves kicked in and made me feel like everything was under control (even when I wasn’t convinced it was!). We stayed the night before with our close family and enjoyed a lovely two-course meal together, which made the whole experience feel even more special. It was such a wonderful way to begin our wedding celebrations. On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly, and the staff were incredible. Every single person went above and beyond to make sure we, our families, and our guests had the best day possible. A special thank you to Emma and Karen, who were absolutely fantastic. Their kindness, professionalism, and hard work didn’t go unnoticed, and they played such a big part in making our day so memorable. We recently got married at Shotton grange June 28th 2026 and from our very first meeting we knew we was in great hands. They always made sure we were happy with all the little details & changes we made before and on the day! The staff are incredible and so so lovely! We honestly couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding. From our very first visit, the staff were welcoming, professional and incredibly supportive, making the whole planning process feel stress-free. On the day, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue looked stunning, the food was delicious, and every detail was taken care of with such care and attention. The team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. On the day itself, everything ran perfectly. The energy from the staff was incredible – so friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited for us, which made such a difference. The food was unreal, and we had so many compliments from our guests saying how much they loved it. A very special mention has to go to Karen, our Master of Ceremonies. She was an absolute star from start to finish – such a great laugh, constantly keeping us updated, and making sure we were fully looked after the entire day. She went above and beyond for us and is truly an amazing asset to the venue. We got married here on the 1st February 2026 and honestly was so beautiful. The staff are amazing, the dealt with a very stressed bride. Everything I emailed, they answered the same day and even rang whenever I asked them to (i never wanted to ring them incase they were busy). Everything we needed they offered and helped made the day so much better for us. We wanted to do something special for my sister in laws birthday and they let us bring a cake to bring out during the meal so say happy birthday to her. Even when I made a last minute decision of having a first look between myself and my husband two days before the wedding, they absolutely helped accommodate us. I knew I would get a better reaction from him privately than infront of everyone. 100% recommend this venue. From the moment we booked Shotton Grange the staff have been exceptional answering all my questions promptly and in detail. They honestly made us so comfortable and at ease throughout the process a special thank you to Emma & Charlotte for the warmest of welcomes in our meetings. Then to our wedding day were staff ran a tight ship following timings and checking on us throughout the day to make sure everything was how we wished and it all ran like clockwork. What better way to help us celebrate our evening do than Karen who took over from day shift staff she was so upbeat and helped us party ! We honestly had the most incredible day in the most amazing venue and we wish we could do it all again! We had our wedding at Shotton Grange in December 2025 and couldn’t recommend them enough. From booking our wedding in September 2024, the communication was excellent. Every email I sent throughout the planning process was answered promptly and resolved any issue or question I had. We had a half way meeting and a final meeting before the wedding day. At both meetings we were always met with a friendly face and were able to discuss all the details. I honestly think my planning process in the run up to the day was so stress free because of the staff at Shotton Grange being so organised and helpful. We were lucky enough to stay the night before (we had to wait till 3 months before reserving to make sure the date was free) and I would definitely recommend this if you can. We were greeted by Roseann who was an absolute pleasure. She helped iron out any last minute issues and provided amazing hospitality to our wedding party. On the wedding day itself, everything was perfect. We were lucky enough to have Roseann as our master of ceremonies and the day ran so smoothly. She went over and above for us and I couldn’t thank her enough! We had 50 daytime guests and roughly 75 evening guests. The atmosphere was amazing and the venue has a great layout for a wedding day. It also has plenty of indoor space if you are having a winter wedding! Many guests have commented on how they loved the venue and the food & drink. The food menu has a lot of varied options and there is something for everyone. I would definitely recommend booking Shotton Grange and would like to thank everyone there for making our wedding such an unforgettable amazing experience.
