Le Petit Chateau is a Mediterranean styled exclusive wedding venue in rural Northumberland. This fixture in the idyllic Northumbrian countryside makes a truly impressive setting for any gathering. This venue's staff specialises in providing the tastefully traditional. However, they are also famous for delivering daringly different. We offer Affordable Luxury for every season with up to 75% off selected dates. Facilities and Capacity: Le Petit Chateau features several attractive options to hold a celebration or ceremony. Combining romance with fantasy, the beautiful Belle Époque chapel is complete with a gigantic grand marble fireplace. The Ballroom brings the outdoors in with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open straight onto the Mediterranean Gardens. On-site accommodation includes 30 ensuite boutique bedrooms, many with roll-top baths, garden views, four-poster beds and rooftop terraces. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Nothing was too much hassle and the day ran so smoothly. A special thank you to our wedding coordinator Alysha Potts who helped us every step of the way with planning and organising, no question was too big or small, we never once felt stressed about our big day. We had the most fabulous wedding at le petit chateau, it was everything we could have dreamed of from the setting of the venue to the beautiful food and the wonderful staff. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Nothing was too much hassle and the day ran so smoothly. Lauren, our coordinator, was amazing throughout the whole planning process. She kept us in the loop at every stage, made everything feel really straightforward, and was always so quick to respond to any questions we had. It really put us at ease knowing she clearly knew exactly what she was doing and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. On the day itself everything ran so seamlessly. The staff were phenomenal – so attentive without ever being intrusive. We genuinely didn’t have to think about a thing all day, they just took care of everything and made sure we were always looked after. So many of our guests commented on how smooth the whole day was and how relaxed everything felt, which is exactly what you want. A special mention has to go to Gary, our day-of compère. He was brilliant from start to finish – kept everything running on time, made sure guests knew what was happening, and looked after us constantly (always making sure we had a drink in hand and even remembering everyone’s names!). He brought such a fun energy to the day and everyone absolutely loved him. The venue itself is also just stunning. We were lucky with the weather and it genuinely felt like we were abroad. The whole day ran so seamlessly which meant we could truly relax and enjoy every minute with our family and friends. We also high recommend staying in the apartment the night before - it made the morning of the wedding feel so much more relaxed and enjoyable. We got engaged in July and went to view the venue in August, we knew immediately it was the place for us, it had everything we wanted, the rustic vibes, the meadow, the big mantel piece, it was everything we wanted! I had a few visits to the venue after booking up, mostly to take my bridesmaids for a look but also to relive all of the little details from my first visit. The team were always very happy for us to look around. Our finer details were locked in with our wedding coordinator Beth Hind; as our wedding approached, we caught up and she made sure we had everything we needed in place and passed across all of our plans to the operational team who would be supporting us on the day! there was a wedding the day before ours which was a worry that I wouldn’t be involved in the setting up on the day, but between Beth and the on the day team, everything was done for us; perfectly! On the day, everything ran so smoothly, the team could not have done enough for us! We had some external suppliers come and set some things up and they were amazing! The drinks were flowing and were lovely, the food was really nice, the popcorn and sweet jars were really well received by our guests too! Lauren Meays has supported our journey and has been very responsive to every email. Detail to plans was exceptional which was executed well on the day by all staff and Tia.
