Although only one mile along the coast from lively Newquay, Porth is a total contrast. It’s close enough if you like the buzz of a busy seaside town but far enough away to be a tranquil retreat.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Personalised garden games which included Cornhole game boards, giant Jenga and croquet. It was such great fun on a sunny afternoon and was a perfect way to fill the time whilst the wedding couple had their photographs taken and we changed the room layout following the ceremony for the wedding breakfast.
