The best day of our lives!The best day of our lives!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We genuinely could not recommend this venue and its team highly enough. From the minute we first enquired about visiting three of their venues, we felt like we were in the best possible hands. Throughout the 14 months of planning our wedding, the team were incredible. Their communication and work ethic deserve a special mention — emails were always responded to so quickly, every question was answered and nothing we ever asked felt like too much. Wedding planning can easily become stressful, but their flexibility, friendliness and calm approach made the whole experience feel so easy and enjoyable. The venue itself is breathtakingly beautiful and was everything we wanted for our wedding, but the people behind it are what made the experience truly unforgettable. Our wedding coordinator, Polly, was absolutely amazing. By the time our wedding day arrived, we genuinely felt as though we had a friend there with us rather than simply a wedding coordinator. She made us feel so comfortable and completely reassured throughout the day, and knowing that she and the team had everything under control meant that we could switch off, be present and enjoy every moment. The food was also one of the absolute highlights of our wedding. All of our guests travelled to celebrate with us and, since the wedding, we have had so many people tell us how blown away they were by both the venue and the food. Hearing our guests talk so highly about it afterwards has made us appreciate our choice even more. Even after the wedding, when we still had a few emails going back and forth, the same level of care and communication continued. That really sums up the experience for us — we never felt like we were simply another wedding. We honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. We were happier than we could ever have imagined with how everything came together on the day, and we will always be so grateful to Polly and the entire team for the part they played in making our wedding so special. We already know this won't be the last time we visit and can't wait to come back for a Feast Night in the future and relive some of those wonderful memories. We cannot speak highly enough of the venue itself and the team that operate there. We were shown around originally by Tom and fell in love straight away. He answered any questions with confidence and assurance, which helped us choose it as our venue. Their communication was always open, honest and prompt and when it came to the wedding itself, Emily was simply superb. She calmed any anxiety, and talked us through how it would all run. She then made the day a seamless affair and, quite simply, the best day of our lives! Our guests (some of who are chefs) commented on how stunning the food was, and several others commented positively on various aspects of the venue and the day. Oh my goodness, what a happy blur it was! We had the most amazing day and want to say a big thank you to you all - with a special shoutout to Clayton - as we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! It must be an almost impossible task to have things running smoothly and on time on the day - especially when the bride arrives late! - but it all seemed to happen to seamlessly and we are so grateful. And even the next day when everything was all ready to just be picked up and taken away!Oh my goodness, what a happy blur it was! “Can we do it all again? We had the best ever time at Old Gore, the venue was stunning, food was incredible and the staff were amazing. Our guests are still raving about the pizza and bao buns. The day ran smoothly, to which we owe a massive thanks to the team at Old Gore - we had a few time changes on the day and they worked around them with ease, offering any advice or help as we needed. The venue layout is perfect, we always felt like we were with our guests no matter where we were. “Can we do it all again? We had the best ever time at Old Gore, the venue was stunning, food was incredible and the staff were amazing. Our guests are still raving about the pizza and bao buns. Old Gore Barn was the only wedding venue we looked around, as we instantly fell in love with it and didn’t want to look at any others. The barn is so beautiful, and it comes decorated with faux-foliage (including foliage chandeliers). The food is INCREDIBLE, we couldn’t believe they could cook such amazing food on such a big scale. However, the best thing about Old Gore is the people. The team cannot do enough to ensure you have the best day, they really do go above and beyond. We really felt Old Gore Barn was the only wedding venue we looked around, as we instantly fell in love with it and didn’t want to look at any others. The barn is so beautiful, and it comes decorated with faux-foliage (including foliage chandeliers). The food is INCREDIBLE, we couldn’t believe they could cook such amazing food on such a big scale. A new and fantastic venue for weddings and feast nights! Clayton, Arabella, Emily and Abby are incredibly warm, laid-back and welcoming hosts who really care about the service they provide. Old Gore Barn is immaculate and the food is the best wedding food we've had (our guests were very impressed!). Safe to say we'll be back for a big feast. Thank you guys for everything and for making our day so special! A new and fantastic venue for weddings and feast nights!
