Truly the most perfect day

We got married at waters edge back in September and it was PERFECT. Firstly the whole process was completely stress free. Emma originally was handling the booking with us and she was confident and relaxed and always able to answer questions and sort anything that was needed. We saw the venue before the farmhouse was built and trusted their vision and I’m so glad we did. Not only was the wedding down by the water so gorgeous and everything we needed, but the farmhouse for everything else was spot on. From its beautiful finishes to the perfect environment for making it your own and making it a place people want to be, it was everything we wanted as a venue. Will took the lead especially on the day and everything ran flawlessly and without stress and I cannot thank him enough! What Steve, Emma and Will (and everyone else involved) have managed to achieve here is special, and I hope more and more people get to experience such an amazing day here!

This venue nails it, you could not want more...

Excellent venue, so special and in the most beautiful surroundings. It is peaceful, secluded and everything you would want for a Cotswolds wedding. From the moment we enquired, the team here have been exceptional - from viewings, to tastings, taking our family to see the venue - the team here could not be any better. Huge thank you to Will who coordinated the day itself and was incredible - he is unflappable, nothing is too much trouble and he gave us complete confidence from the second we arrived. Huge thank you also to the Chef Danny who created the most spectacular menu - many guests have commented since saying how fantastic the food was. This venue nails it, you could not want for more. Beautiful surroundings, exceptional service and the most caring and kind staff you could wish for. Highly recommend.

The staff at Water's Edge are absolutely wonderful. They were able to accommodate every need and requirement that we had and remained professional and polite throughout our time of booking all the way up to the big day. Wow what can I say? What a venue! And what a team!

From the minute you arrive at Water's Edge at Ewen you get an idea of how special the venue is. The outdoor ceremony area is absolutely breathtaking! You can say your vows on the sweeping lawn right next to, (you guessed it!) The Water's Edge! The outdoor ceremony area really achieves something unique - it gives the feeling of openness and space in the beautiful Cotswolds Countryside but it also feels secluded as you are surrounded by willow trees. It's truly magical. The venue is family run and you really get a sense of this with Will and the rest of the team. Nothing is too much trouble and you really feel like you are getting that personal service from them as they are involved in each and every wedding. The fact that you can stay for two nights as well makes your wedding even more special as you can arrive the day before and celebrate with your VIPs before the big day. Water’s edge is an incredible venue!

We got married at Water’s Edge October 2024 and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to look after us and our guests. We were looking at various venues for a while but when we came across Water’s Edge and met some of the team during our visit, we knew this venue was the one for us. The venue is stunning but we also loved their attention to detail, bubbly nature and they just made us feel at ease. Will, Emma, Steve and the rest of the team were awesome. They were so attentive from the start, they were super clear in their communications, answered all our many questions and they made the whole process feel easy from start to finish. Will did an outstanding job coordinating the day and everything went so smoothly. It was also so lovely that Will checked in on us throughout the day to check if we needed anything. The venue and the grounds are gorgeous and the food was AMAZING. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our wedding day, so a massive thank you to everyone at Water’s Edge! Will, Steve, Emma, and the rest of the team at Water’s Edge are second to none. We had a fantastic wedding at the end of September 2024 and we could not have asked for more. Nothing was too much to ask, the Hewer family are so accommodating and did so much proactive work for us that the event went off without a hitch. The accommodation is gorgeous, the lake is beautifully serene and our guests said it’s comfortably the best wedding breakfast they have ever had! Everything was honestly, so so amazing...

My (now husband!) Ian and I got married here in September 2024. When we started looking at wedding venues around a year and a half prior, we were disappointed because we just didn’t feel like anywhere we visited was special enough for our day, and we ended up putting a halt to our search. We then decided a few months later to let look again and thought we would look for venues in the Cotswolds. We saw this new venue Water’s Edge and called up, and were invited only a few days later to come and have a personal visit with the owner. We were so taken by the venue, it is so beautiful and we really fell in love with it. We really loved also that it is a family business rather than a big chain, so the personal feel and attention to detail was obvious to us from the outset. We were well communicated with from reserving our date, to planning beforehand with Will, and then over our wedding weekend, everything was just taken care of. Everything was honestly, so so amazing, the staff, the food, the views, the decor, just everything was so perfect, and we really do feel that our special day was made so much more special because we were in such a beautiful venue. Thank you Water’s Edge for making our day so lovely and for being so welcoming from start to finish.
