Steeped in history with gorgeous gardens and grounds, Norton Priory is a beautiful, historic and atmospheric wedding and reception venue in Runcorn, Cheshire.
With easy access for guests from across the North West and North Wales, and close proximity to the cities of Liverpool, Manchester and Chester, Norton Priory is perfectly located, and easy to access from the motorway network.
With a range of beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to set the scene for your special day, you can be assured of a magic start to your own story. There are a variety of spaces available for wedding ceremonies including the Grade I listed Medieval Undercroft, the Grade II listed Georgian Loggia, the Walled Garden Band Stand and contemporary Museum Atrium.
Wedding parties have access to stunning outdoor backdrops for photographs to remember, which include the excavated archaeological ruins of the medieval monastic complex and acres of woodland.
Our approach to your big day brings flexibility and the opportunity to make your wedding, your way. As a venue in which to celebrate your special day, Norton Priory offers an unforgettable and magical backdrop. The site looks beautiful during the day, but for evening receptions the internal spaces of the museum take on an even more magical atmosphere as the evening light fades, and candle light dances in the undercroft, whilst coloured uplighters wash the atrium with a warm glow.
Our team would be more than happy to meet you for a no-obligation viewing of our unique spaces to discuss your requirements.
