- EEwan S.21/05/2024What a pleasant surprise!What a pleasant surprise!What a pleasant surprise! My wife and I had never been to Drumnadrochit before and this hotel was a random choice, more or less. We'll know where to go not just in Drumnadrochit, but also in the whole Loch Ness area now. The staff in both the hotel and restaurant were helpful and charming, mixing local knowledge with international experience. The restaurant is designed in a surprisingly tasteful "Highland Fantasia" style and the food is excellent. I can't recommend this place enough!What a pleasant surprise! Donald and his wife are a constant presence as he presides over his enthusiastic, friendly, well informed and focussed team. The original building has been a seventeenth century lodge, a bank and a hotel.
