We can’t quite put into words just how incredible the team at Larkspur are. From start to finish, each and every member of staff we encountered or had contact with provided us with exceptional, professional and friendly service. We owe our wedding to Sophie, who worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of our day was just as we dreamed it would be. With her knowledge of the industry, her approachability and flexibility, and her driving force nature, Sophie made our dream a reality alongside her amazing team. Erin who ensured the catering side of our day ran seamlessly, with a smile on her face. Hannah who updated files, was present at meetings, was super responsive to emails and who on the day provided support, encouragement and a reassuring arm to settle the nerves. James who worked alongside Erin to ensure that the food we ate was nothing short of perfection and that our evening could go ahead as planned and finally the lovely Caitlin who facilitated and coordinated the day, alongside her colleagues, ensuring that all the finer details were in place. Larkspur Lodge is a haven where dreams really do become a reality thanks to the dedicated, committed and incredible staff team. The building itself is steeped in history, yet with a modern, rustic feel. The outdoor space provides the perfect sanctuary for soaking up the sunshine in the summer and spring months or watching nature take its course during the autumn and winter months, with a drink in hand as the day unfolds. The natural grounds around the lodge allow for the most idyllic photographs and the ceremony room is like nothing you’ve ever seen before! We were blessed to stumble upon this incredible venue and urge anyone who hasn’t already, to visit the lodge and allow the most amazing team of angels to bring your dreams to reality too! Wow, where to start. From the moment we walked into Larkspur, we were completely sold, not just because of it's beautiful bucolic setting and the absolutely stunning venue with an amazing outdoor space, but also the Larkspur team. They were fantastic, from start to finish. The team at Larkspur have absolutely finessed the art of wedding planning and everything in between. Myself and my wife were due to get married at Larkspur Lodge in the 21st March 2020. This was cancelled the night before due to the prime ministers announcement regarding the covid pandemic. Larkspur we’re fantastic with us the whole time and allowed us to postpone our wedding not once but twice all the way until 3rd December 2022 when we finally was able to Marry once all the restrictions were lifted. We had lots of communication with Larkspur and they were always very welcoming and understanding of our needs and personally I think this reduced a lot of stress for myself and my wife. On the day we had constant communication with the venue staff, explaining what to do at what time etc, it made the day much less stressful than trying to remember everything. The food was fantastic, we had the chicken tikka skewers, pan fried chicken breast and the chocolate brownie for desert and it all tasted amazing. We had so much feedback from our guests on how good the food tasted. Likewise in the evening we had the pizza fire truck and we had so many compliments on the taste of the pizza and how cool the fire truck was. My wife used the on site bridal prep room on the day and it was worth every penny. such a large room where herself, the 3 bridesmaids and mother of the bride was able to get ready at the same time with makeup and hair suppliers working on multiple people at the same time. We were allowed access to the room for the rest of the day as well so it was a great place to store bridal party bags etc. As we had a Christmas wedding the venue was decorated so beautifully and we loved the ceremony room. We had so many great comments on how unique the ceremony room was and how beautiful the venue was.

As proud grandparents we spent a wonderful time at Larkspur Lodge 6th November celebrating our granddaughter Jodie's Wedding to Jack. From the moment we were greeted by Larkspur's attentive staff to when we left to drive 60 miles home, we could not have enjoyed a more perfect venue for such a special occasion.

We got married here in October and the venue is beautiful. Evie was beyond amazing as were the rest of the team. Ceremony room is one of a kind and have to say it is PERFECT for a winter wedding. Rained all day and it didn’t matter as the venue was so cosy and magical.
