Welcome to Lakeside Weddings at Maisemore Court. We are a unique, exclusive use marquee wedding venue nestled within a traditional family run farm. It’s picturesque locations are tailored for marquee wedding receptions in Gloucestershire. We have two beautiful lakeside venues which our couples can choose from. Maisemore Court which is our original marquee wedding venue. It is located in a quiet countryside village which is a stone’s throw away from Gloucester City Centre. On approaching the venue you will be welcomed by a tree lined avenue which leads to the beautiful local St Giles Maisemore church and the historic buildings of the Maisemore Court farm. You then turn around to take in the breathtaking lake with its permanent residents Mr and Mrs Swan and the ducks. The Hidden Lake is our second marquee wedding venue where your imagination can run wild! This is our newest remote venue which is nestled in the heart of the farm in Maisemore, Gloucestershire. The venue is located amongst old oak trees and rolling hills by a lake which stretches along the tree line. If you are looking for a wild wedding set by a lake with a canopy of trees then this venue is perfect for you! Our venues are suitable for May - September weddings! We do not offer mid week dates but have weekend wedding packages available. Unfortunately we are unable to offer legal ceremonies at our venue however couples can get married at the local St Giles Church or alternatively have a celebrant led ceremony (non legal) by the lakeside. Our wedding reception at Maisemore was amazing - the comparative blank slate was perfect for hosting our dream reception, and Jasmine and Greg were amazing! They had so much advice, and really helped us bring the little details together, with things like picnic benches and a firepit. Because a lot of our wedding was quite DIY, having the whole weekend to set up (and pack away!) made a crazy time much less stressful! Thank you so much guys! Jamie (and Kerry)

We got married in September 2019 at Maisemore court and had a marquee reception. The grounds are so beautiful and the atmosphere on the day was everything I wanted it to be..mainly due to the lovely setting ! We have such lovely photos to look back on of the children watching the swans, people sat out on the hay bales enjoying drinks and many more lovely memories we will cherish forever! It was great we were able to book the venue out ready a few days before so we had a good amount of time for the marquee etc to be sorted without stressing too much at the last minute! Also a big thank you to Greg who helped us out with certain things and gave us some good ideas that he had done for his own wedding.. it was much appreciated 😊 We definetly made the right decision choosing Maisemore court , it was a perfect day. Thank you!

“In June 2019 me and my husband got married! It took us long time to find the perfect venue for our wedding, we knew we needed something special for this special one in a lifetime event! We had snooped on the internet for weeks and viewed so many venues, and we were disappointed with all of them, until we found Lakeside Weddings at Maisemore Court!! The communication was easy and very quick from the start and we managed to view the land within a day. Once we stepped our feet on this property we knew that it was the one! The view was magnificent!! The owners made our day magical and they helped with every query we had and also helped with any issues! We even had a firework display on our special day and we were surprised as the owners had no issues with that. This is the place to have your wedding! The price is good and the communication is amazing! You will not regret it! This place has given us the best memories we could have ever had and our guests say exactly the same! Highly recommend this wedding venue! Also pictures are magnificent!”

The BEST day of our lives

My husband and I got married at Lakeside Weddings at Maisemore Court in July 2019. We have always dreamed of getting married at our local church, St Giles, and wanted a relaxed marquee receptions afterwards. Due to the church being a stone throw away from the venue it was a no brainer. The venue is beautiful and the lake was the perfect backdrop for our wedding photographs! The venue was the perfect setup for our guests to park for the church and not have to worry about travel all day! For our wedding we wanted lots of food, good music and a venue to accommodate for a big guest list and Lakeside Weddings managed it all. We literally had the most amazing and unforgettable wedding day. If we could do it again we would! Lakeside Weddings was everything we could have dreamed of and more. We even get back this year for a picnic by the lake for our first year anniversary!

We loved the fact that Lakeside Weddings at Maisemore Court was a beautiful blank canvas. We could do whatever we wanted and add our own personal touch to the picturesque setting. Driving into the wedding through the gorgeous village felt truly "Cotswolds" and at exceptional value. Everyone at Maisemore we liaised with were very friendly and helpful but to be honest we were mostly left to just get on with it which was ideal. There was ample parking and space for all our guests. My favourite part was being able to camp overnight in the smaller field with all our friends and wake up in the morning to breakfast on a hay bale looking out over the beautiful lake

Myself and Harry got married in May 2015 and we chose to have our wedding reception at Lakeside Weddings at Maisemore Court. From the moment we looked around we knew it was the perfect place to share our special day with our loved ones. The venue was beautiful and had a relaxed feel to it which is exactly what we wanted. The Chamberlayne family were amazing with allowing us to make plans and have exactly what we wanted. Which is very rare these days. This is just another reason for you to book this stunning venue it really is a hidden beauty and like us you will fall in love with it when you see it! Thank you for making our day possible and allowing us to have exactly what we wanted. Cliche but it really was one of the best and most memorable days of our lives and we wish we could do it all over again! Mark and I got married at Maisemore in August 2016, it was a perfect day helped by the stunning location! The Chamberlayne family were fantastic from start to finish, from booking to the logistics of setting everything up the day before. We were able to source our own catering, marquee, bar facilities and decorate the ground as we wanted. We could tailor it to our needs, which most other wedding venues wouldn’t allow. We wanted to thank you all for our fairytale wedding. Even now nearly four years on the memories still stick with us. I cannot recommend the location enough, it really is a hidden gem within Gloucestershire with the most gorgeous views surrounding you all day. Extra bonus the photos always look amazing with the natural surroundings within the grounds (greenery and the lake for miles).If you are not sure from the reviews and photos just go and take a look for yourself, you will fall in love with it like we did!

The most romantic setting!!!

Wow from the moment we first saw this stunning lakeside wedding venue we were just completely in love, it is just the most romantic setting!!! The possibilities you could create here are absolutely endless! From an intimate wedding down by the lake to a huge party in a tipi let your imagination run away to create your dream day!!! We were so lucky to do a photoshoot with our light up letters and can’t wait to be here again for some weddings!!!

We did a bridal shoot at Maisemore Lakeside wedding venue and it was stunning ! I’d completely recommend this venue to any couple looking to tie the knot - it was clean, picturesque and right next to the lake where swans were casually floating past 😆 The staff were super organised and very helpful :)

My best planning tip is to get all the essentials booked at the beginning - venue, catering, entertainment, photographer - then you can relax for a while! Remember ask any many questions as you need! No question is a silly question.
