Kinkell Byre was truly the most wonderful wedding venue. It was actually the only venue we viewed as we knew it was absolutely perfect the minute we stepped foot in. We loved being able to choose which suppliers we could have on our special day, it allowed us to properly customise the day to make it feel very us. Although a blank canvas venue may feel intimidating, Kinkell provide an extensive list of excellent suppliers, to help build your special day. On top of this list, the team come with years of experience to help guide and advise in the lead up to the wedding. They were always just a phone call or email away. The setting was absolutely perfect. Set on the coast, with stunning gardens, beautiful glamping cabins (where the bridal party actually got ready in) - the place is perfect for a real Scottish wedding! I think the photos of Kinkell speak for themselves, but Kinkell Byre truly is a magical venue. We can't wait to come back and stay in the cabins for our 1 year anniversary. Thank you Kinkell!

We were so happy with our choice to hold our wedding at Kinkell Byre! The staff were incredibly accommodating, professional, and friendly and they made planning and hosting our wedding a breeze. The pictures don't do this majestic venue justice! It is a stunning venue with a beautiful view of the North Sea and magical grounds. Our guests were left speechless! We highly recommend Kinkell Byre!

Kinkell Byre was the absolute venue of our dreams and exceeded expectations massively on our big day. Being able to put our own stamp on it and the amazing effort the team all put throughout in made the day and run-up unbelievably good! The day went in a flash but we managed to pack so much in and the Kinkell team all made it run so so seamlessly - an amazing job dealing with suppliers, timings etc. which allowed us to fully enjoy ourselves! We visited Kinkell in Oct 2020 - 2 weeks after our engagement and Sophie gave us the two tours over the weekend. She was so so friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a good initial feeling about the venue- we had it booked 2 days after! It was also the first and only venue we viewed in person! The Kinkell team were absolute superstars, both answering my many emails with LOTS of queries. Nothing seemed too much hassle and they always responded super quick! A massive help was also Claire on the day who was like my third bridesmaid! Sorting my veil, decorating the cake, feeding me Prosecco when I was freaking out before going down the aisle and making sure we were ready for key photos/timings like the sparkler shot! Tegan was fab as well who had the not so lovely job of tidying up post-party and gathering our items for an easy pop in the car on Sunday. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, we found nowhere else near comparable. Spoilt for choice with so many beautiful spots for photos too. We chose Kinkell as we knew if we weren’t blessed with Scottish sunshine we would still get fab photos - luck was on our side and we were able to get photos in the orchard, against the red barn doors, the sea backdrop and by the golf course. It was such an amazing day we’ll never forget. I would highly recommend Kinkell to all future brides and grooms looking for a stunning barn venue to put their own stamp on!

My now husband and I had the most amazing wedding at Kinkell Byre on 16th July this year. We were looking at barn style conversations in the Fife costal route as we wanted a venue tailored to our unique style. We had looked at 4 other venues and Kinkell was our last. We walked in and knew instantly, with just a look at each other, this was the place! The rest simply could no compete. We loved the rustic style with Stephen’s option of clever chandelier lighting to lift the huge expanse of rooms to a chique byre. The versatility of the three main areas meant we did not have to clear the dining area before starting our ceilidh or stop for set up of the evening buffet. Guests could move seamlessly through Kinkell throughout the day. We had Kinkell’s vintage tractor set up close to the bar which was much admired (and photographed) by our guests. Close to the bar and away from the ceilidh there was additional chesterfield sofas for the older guests. We also had a play area set up for the children. There is a beautiful orchard out the back with seating (where we set up crazy golf in the sun) and of course the uninterrupted view out the main entrance across the North sea and down the coast to both St.Andrews and Kingsbarns. We considered having fire pits here but we’re lucky we had such a beautiful day. The day ran like clockwork and looked incredible thanks to the many, many suppliers involved. Sam & Sophie were on hand to guide us through every stage in the lead up to our special day. We had a wedding that was completely bespoke and exactly as we wanted it. We have to pay credit also to both Sophie and Eve who were on hand (but invisible) for anything we required on the day. Our day was just perfect, and our guests have all raved about the beauty of the venue since. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough, I’d give more stars if it were an option. Instead we hold Kinkell Byre close to our hearts, Mr & Mrs Rose x

We had the pleasure of being invited to a wedding reception here yesterday. I need to divorce my husband just so we can re-marry and have our reception here. What a beautiful place, the staff were amazing, so lovely, very efficient and friendly. Kept out Glasses topped up as well as constantly bringing water to the table. The food was exceptional. There was nothing on my plate that I wouldn't choose again and again. Everything was beautifully cooked and very well presented. The location was stunning. Plenty of parking and easy enough to get a taxi. The main room was set up how I imagine a fairy grotto to be. No harsh lighting bit little lights strung up and so many candles. Very romantic, perfect. In the bar area we're several leather sofas and hay bales again candles alight and soft lighting adding to the atmosphere. The sweet cart was a big hit with the children and adults alike. The highlights were me was the cherry on the top was the ice cream cart, oh boy. My son was very excited to see the selection of malts behind the bar and yes much sampling took place. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place not just for a wedding but any special occasion.
