Description

Whether you are looking for a beautiful period setting for your special day, or a touch of the unusual, The Judge’s Lodging has something to offer you. With three stunningly restored rooms registered for ceremonies, this award-winning museum will do all it can to make your wedding a day to truly remember. The Building itself was called 'The most commodious and elegant apartments for a judge in all England and Wales’. by one of its original occupants and nothing much has changed in the way it stuns people, from HRH Prince of Wales' comments that it is 'Truly inspirational' to Lucy Worsley's 'WHAT a stunning place!'. If you choose this museum as the setting for your wedding vows, there are three period rooms to choose from. The vast courtroom is grand, but also lends itself to those who like to present something quirky, whilst the sumptuous Dining Room or elegant Withdrawing Room provide more intimate settings. All are lit, stunningly, by period lighting. Staff will work very personally with you to create the right atmosphere for you. Whichever room you choose, the others will be available for pre or post ceremony refreshments and the Dining Room is available for intimate evening dining for groups of up to 27. The museum can provide tours for your guests, help with accommodation in the area, suggest suppliers and generally work to make your day as special and easy for you as they can. If you are considering a ceremony at the building a complimentary tour is provided.
