Wilde Lodge

It's hard to know where to start in praising Jemma, Kevin, Jules, Jess, and all of the staff who worked so so hard before, during and after our wedding day, to make it the very best experience for us and our guests. The accommodation with it's amazing views on site was luxurious, spacious, comfortable, and housed 5 families with small children easily which made the preparations so fun on the day. The different zones at Wilde Lodge were so useful for the different parts of the wedding and everything went so smoothly considering we had a large amount of guests (116). The Long Barn was perfect for our family photographs, the garden was a beautiful backdrop for our confetti walk, and the tent was a magnificent celebratory space for both our ceremony and wedding breakfast. I could go on and on about all of the little details but they did so much for us I would be here all day. Thank you Wilde Lodge. Great venue!!

We honestly couldn't possibly put into words how happy and in love with our time at The Wilde lodge we are. We got married at the Wilde Lodge in September and it truly was the best weekend of our lives and was just magical the whole way through! Every little thing was thought of to make sure our weekend was as relaxed (but still very much under control and stress free!) as possible. We really loved that from our first meeting with Jemma to look around less than a year before our wedding we felt so at home and comfortable and like she totally understood what we wanted and that nothing was too much trouble. Each check in meeting we had with Jemma or Hannah was brilliant for keeping us on track with planning but also meant that by our wedding weekend we were able to feel so relaxed knowing it was all taken care of. We knew we wanted a wedding that was relaxed and less traditional, focusing just around having the chance to spend time and celebrate with our friends and family. Being able to have the whole lodge for the full three days meant we were really able to do that, having a big family dinner friday night was one of the highlights of our whole weekend! Hannah and Jemma took care of all of this for us cooking all the lasagnes and food we brought and laying it all out for us which took a huge pressure off us! On Saturday morning they again prepared our breakfasts, in the dining room for the girls and out in the open barn for the boys which was so lovely and appreciated! Every member of staff couldn't have been more helpful. During the whole wedding day they worked so hard making everything run smoothly without making it seem over organised or rushed in anyway at all as can often happen at weddings. Jemma even took my baby nephew and our dog Pippin off for a walk up the driveway while we had our ceremony and they had a lovely time sitting in sun and meant we didn't need to worry at all! All of the children who came to our wedding we so well catered to as well and had a lovely time playing on the lawns and exploring. The grounds are just beautiful and the safari tent and long barn were the perfect size and we had so much fun decorating them! One of our favourite parts was going for a walk at golden hour with our dog Pippin with our photographer. As we came back down the driveway we could see all or friends and family having a wonderful time all spread out over the lawns, the really comfortable seats and playing lawn games. The food by Csons was absolutely amazing and all of our guests commented on how lovely and different it was. On Sunday we had a big family breakfast with all our family staying at the lodge and a few friends that came back, again we gave the team all the food on the friday morning and they took care of it all cooking it and laying everything out for our breakfast in the dining room. Our wedding day was just magical but I'll also never forget those times in the dining room relaxing with family which were so special! For the rest of Sunday we were able to have a lovely day opening our cards, going for a walk and off for sunday lunch at a local pub and packing up in a really relaxed way. I'd say being able to have all this time around our wedding day to just enjoy being together and take our time really made the weekend. With a lot of venues it being a rush to leave the next day, having the time meant we could really stay in our little wedding bubble and turn it into more of a holiday than just one day. Everything the Wilde Lodge does is just perfect and everything we could have ever dreamed of. They really have it spot on and offer something so unique. We felt like we were welcomed like great friends and all of our friends and family said the same. The house is so comfortable and well equipped. We can't thank you all enough! Jemma knows we never even visited another venue when deciding where to get married, the second we drove down the lovely Wilde lodge drive and met Jemma we just knew it was 100% the place for us and we were completely right

We spent almost a year looking for a wedding venue before finally finding Wilde Lodge. We wanted a relaxed celebration with our closest friends and family for our wedding day and Wilde Lodge was just absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to everyone at Wilde Lodge for giving us the absolute wedding day. We would definitely be described as wedding averse but all the staff at the venue went above and beyond helping us create the best day and giving complete flexibility with what we wanted to do. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and everyone has raved about how great the venue is. The options for small weddings (under 30 guests for us) are also excellent if that's what you are looking for - the spaces are so versatile and somehow felt so intimate yet also a great space if you wanted a bigger celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day and can't wait to come back one day!

I cannot thank Jemma and the team enough. From start to finish they have been nothing but helpful, polite, organised and completely understood exactly what we wanted. The venue itself it’s stunning, relaxed and soo cosy. I loved the fact the we could use every space of the venue for different parts of the day. Jemma and the team are so helpful, kind and I love them all. Csons made a special request for our food menu, we wanted a super relaxed day and asked for burgers from their restaurant menu and doughnuts for pudding and it was delicious. Wilde Lodge fulfilled our every expectation and much more! The venue is beautiful with many different areas, and lots of options for all weather. The ceremony in the long barn was absolutely perfect and no silly rules of no confetti inside, which made for brilliant photos! The team are outstanding, we cannot thank Jemma, Jules and Hannah (and the behind the scenes staff) enough for all their hard work and being so attentive to every detail. They really do think of everything. Highly recommend, if we could do it all again we would in a heartbeat.

I have photographed numerous weddings at Wilde Lodge now, and it is definitely one of my favourite venues. Stunning surroundings and beautiful indoor spaces, make this venue a photographer's dream! And the staff are always so helpful and friendly too. It's always a joy to be back there!
