14 April 2025 Where do we even begin? Ivy Lodge was everything we dreamed of and more. The venue is absolutely stunning — that perfect blend of rustic barn charm with a luxurious, elegant feel. Every corner was picture-perfect, and everything looked amazing on the day. The staff? Incredible. So warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely. We felt completely looked after from start to finish. Huge shoutout to Clayton and Molly, who were absolute stars. Communication was spot-on, they were so kind and helpful, and really made us feel like nothing was too much to ask. AMAZING AND WARM individuals. They really know what they’re doing — it showed in how smoothly everything went! The food was next level — big portions, top quality, and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still telling us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The wine was fantastic too. And don’t even get us started on the lighting for the party — it was such a vibe and brought everything to life! I had always dreamed of having a long table setup, and seeing it come together was genuinely magical. It was everything I imagined and more. Honestly, if we could do our wedding all over again, we’d do it exactly the same. Ivy Lodge made it possible for us to just be present, soak in every emotion, and enjoy every second without a single worry. We’ll treasure those memories forever. -Kamille and Joe

We got married here on the 30th of October, 2022. Old Gore is just magic - right from the start, meeting Emily, Clayton, Abbie, Arabella, and team, it felt right as we were after something full of warmth/hygge vibes and all about the food!

We had such a brilliant day! Thank you so much to everyone at the Old Gore for making it such a special occasion, and especially to Abby and Emily who ran the day. We have had so many of our guests comment on the beautiful venue, and the delicious food - more than one person has said it was the best wedding food they have ever had!

Lovely venue, beautiful setting and when it comes to food... Between the enormous wood oven and the Argentinian bbq settings you know they take it very seriously

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to you, Clayton, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to show how appreciative I am. You really made our wedding so much easier for us (inclusive of planning) and we will always feel like you were a big part of the weekend. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Oh my goodness, what a happy blur it was! We had the most amazing day and want to say a big thank you to you all - with a special shoutout to Clayton - as we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! It must be an almost impossible task to have things running smoothly and on time on the day - especially when the bride arrives late! - but it all seemed to happen to seamlessly and we are so grateful.

What can we say. From coming to visit the barn whilst it was still being built to our wedding weekend just gone. We can’t thank everyone at Old Gore enough. Especially Clayton on the day! Nothing was too much trouble and they made everything flow so seamlessly. We had lots of comments on this during the day and after which made us feel so happy as sometimes weddings can be chaotic! Just what we wanted. Incredible food, good drink and a venue of dreams. Thank you for helping us create our dream!

Old Gore by Yard Space Events is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful venues in The Cotswolds. The finish is absolute perfection, with some much light flowing in but also so much character. The staff are completely and utterly wonderful and funny; they bent over backwards to accommodate us as suppliers. I absolutely love photographing weddings here and am looking forward to being back

We've worked with Old Gore Barn on a number of occasions now, providing our wedding bands and DJ packages. The venue is breathtaking - a beautiful space and exceptional staff. Highly recommend if you're looking for your perfect wedding venue!

I can't express how happy we are that we chose Old Gore as our wedding venue - we genuinely wouldn't have changed one aspect of our day. I sincerely don't believe we'd have had the same experience anywhere else due to how seamlessly organised everything was, from the minute we initiated conversations with the team. A huge thank you to the team who helped us organise everything - having planned our day from a different time zone, there was always flexibility in when someone was available to talk!
