Imperial Rooms Full Description

A former United Methodist Free Church built in 1912, the Imperial Rooms have two spaces available for wedding hire either separately or together and you can have exclusive use of the venue and the car parking outside. Derwent Hall comprises a full stage and PA system (for up to 300 people) and Riber Room (for up to 100 people). The Imperial Rooms can offer you flexibility and the option of hiring both rooms (including small well equipped kitchens) one for the ceremony and the other for your reception. Lovely space with the most helpful staff

We loved the Imperial Rooms as soon as we saw it. The space is light, airy and modern with a lovely character from being a converted former church. The staff were helpful and flexible from the start. Even from arranging a viewing you knew they couldn't do enough to help. This was enhanced further due to the covid pandemic. We got married in September 2020, in the few weeks that 30 person weddings and receptions were permitted. All the staff, but particularly Kim, did all they could to make the day as special as possible within the rules. They really went over and above the call of duty to help and support us and we had a fabulous day. We would really recommend this venue, it's a gorgeous space and you can really make it your own. The staff are wonderful, plus the venue is a bargain.
